@@PerspectiveEnd I’ve looked at the transformations for just about every mp styled bonecrusher/scavenger, and none of them could possibly fit in the lower arm. You could maybe hollow out the body and make the hand fold into the lower arm, which would then compress, but this might then be too brittle

Having the ideal Constructicons set would be one were we have the six members normally, and the extra parts thay do nothing actually also transforms into other construction vehicles, and then in comboner mode they are used for the 100% accurate look Gets rid of lazy partsforming plus gives you tiny little pals for the team in vehicle mode

@@PerspectiveEnd I recommend checking out, J-decker is good so is GaoGaiGar, kinda like transformers but with more focus on combining (often even in story characters getting capability to was a story point connected to their character development, like in J-decker) and since each instalments is independent each has different origin for robots. I also mention this because it would be interesting if third party tried to make figures based on them (unlike transformers these doesn't need extra parts to combine, everything is integrated (although only one that was proper five part combiner was Thunder Baron in Brave of sun Fighbird (second show in franchise, quite comedic with paridy stuff) which managed to fit hands into individual robots, and have torso bot have transformation similar to CW Silverbolt, decades before Generations line even started, other five parts robots were often combined from other combiners)) with lots of combiner designs being more thought out and pore prioritizing combined form being consistant, leading to some of the best designs of combiners ever (closest comparison would be RID2001's Rail Racer, also being 3 part combiner with no extra parts needed and great design), I mean some of these designs could be easier for designers to handle (stylization model and improving proportions for animation was a case in both franchises, but most of G1 combiners relied on extra parts to create distinct look) and seeing hom MMC could have their OC be exclusive to one place and still be popular, then new figures of characters that have only one figure, and that being essentially more advanced G1 toy wouldn't face competition unlike with producing known combiners...

If you want a good figure with heavy ratchet with loud clicks just hunt down some unicron trilogy figures. Armada Megatron and cybertron Optimus have amazing clicks and are good figures they don’t have siege level of posing but what they have works for some good poses.

If there’s one thing I don’t get about companies doing masterpiece Transformers figures, it’s why they don’t ever properly product test these things, or listen to the proper issues people have with the figures so they can go back to chalkboard and fix those issues. By doing none of it, it’s just making customers weary to buy their expensive products. You obviously have the Constructicons for Toyworld with how they break. An example from Takara is why didn’t give BW Megatron a tighter waist swivel, or a ratcheted waste swivel at the very least. They would most likely have to rework the robot torso and the piece that has the swivel disk, but it would improve an impressive looking figure. I mean seriously, do these companies not see the issues when they test out the prototypes? Do they not actively look for reviews of their figures? You need to look for constructive criticism to spot issues with a product that could affect how a majority of people feel about it overall. By the way, reviews for Robot Paradise Acoustic Wave are out. If you have seen any of them, what are your initial thoughts on the overall appearance and transformation of the figure?

I think a lot of them do, but some of them don't. And yes a lot of them really could stand to take the criticism more. I have seen it, I'm personally not impressed with any aspect of it. Seems to me that for sure the masterpiece is better yet again. To be fair the mp Soundwave is one of the best figure's of all time.

@@PerspectiveEnd I think the issue a lot of MP-13 owners are gonna have with Acoustic Wave is that MP-13 was sort a lightening in a bottle. Back when MP figures by Takara related more to their toy variants, MP-13 was the best of that time period. It was truly a masterpiece transformers figure. While RP does look good, it’s mainly just that. A good/decent figure. It’s not nearly as perfect as how MP-13 got it. While RP is toon-accurate, it has a lighter shade of blue that detracts from how imposing Soundwave is meant to look. For Soundwave, you need darker blues. Another thing is that the figure appears softer than MP-13. MP-13 was a sharp and intimidating looking figure. Now from what I’ve heard, RP definitely feels better than MP-13 and has sturdier joints, but people are only going to get it if they want to collect Soundwave figures of if they never got MP-13 and don’t want a KO. I would only get this figure because I have the MP-13b Soundblaster and therefor don’t have a need to try and get MP-13 Soundwave. Both have great looking tape modes, and RP does fill in the back much better in alt mode than MP-13. If FansToys wanted to try and top MP-13, I feel like they should have made look slightly more sharp, gave him a darker blue color, and perhaps they could have found a way to perfectly include his Cybertronian lamppost mode while still having him transform perfectly into tape mode-something I hope Takara can do if they ever want to try and make a second version of MP-13. While you can try an mimic the lamppost mode on MP-13, the only way to truly accomplish it is by having the legs connect to each other, as in the cartoon Soundwave’s legs merged with each other to form the stalk of the lamppost mode. But I will say that I prefer the look and appearance of RP Laserbeak much more than MP Laserbeak. I think people are gonna try and go more for the tapes rather than RP Soundwave when it comes to the two releases. Here’s to hoping the FT Blaster will be a good figure.

@@jaydonmagan4694 The recent batch of Constructor figures are the ones experiencing the horrible QC issues. I have the first boxset, and that involved me having to transform them from bot mode to alt mode to combine mode. Nothing ever broke off no matter how heavy handed I was, and some parts had tolerance issues to where I had to put grit into getting things tabbed in or slotted through. The newer ones, you look at it funny and it falls apart. Regarding RP-01 Acoustic Wave - I gotta disagree with you. The toon aesthetic that it's going for doesn't meed those sharp features, though it's arguable that the desgin does feature a lot of angles and stuff. The cartoon look was much more softer and beveled. The blue is plenty dark, too. If it was any darker it'd be black, and that's a whole other figure. I love MP-13 to death, but he disappears into the collection because of the color and that it doesn't pop and display his presence that well. Acoustic Wave, however, has presence and doesn't have a problem being seen. And Acoustic Wave is imposing, they made him big and burly, and Soundwave always was scary just by how mellow he looked, not by having sharp features making it seem like's he's vicious and angry. But those are preferences. Integrating the Cybertronian lamppost mode would be a nice touch, but honestly is not necessary. I don't really think there are that many people clamoring to display him like that. MP-13 Soundwave came out at a great time for collecting MPs. There's no denying that. But it's a whole different aesthetic and it's sad to say that it's outdated. TT can make a 2.0, but it won't have that same golden touch that RP-01 had when compared to MP-13. And that's fine.

@@Rakerong For Acoustic Wave, if you compare his color to that of MP Soundwave, Acoustic has a lighter shade of blue. So yes, they could have gone with a darker blue. And it would be cartoon accurate since Soundwave did have a darker blue color in the G1 cartoon. As for why it would need to have some sharp details is that, as toon accurate as it is, it doesn’t give a more menacing or firm vibe that the MP has. Ultimately, Acoustic Wave, as updated as it is, lacks stuff for people to want to buy it. It’s a good figure with more stability than the MP, but from what I’ve seen, most people still prefer the MP Soundwave to the Acoustic Wave. Ultimately, the Acoustic Wave doesn’t feel like it has as much of a presence when compared to the MP in terms of looks and transformation. Some people, like Perspective, find Acoustic to be more dull in comparison to the MP.

Again, it's subjective reasons why people prefer MP-13 but that doesn't detract from Acoustic Wave's highlights. Just because someone doesn't like or is not impressed with Acoustic Wave mean that it's a dull figure. The toon accurate figure isn't supposed to look 'menacing'. That's a specific preference. I want an animation accurate headsculpt. Acoustic Wave has an animation accurate headsculpt. You may not want that. Neither of us is wrong. Neither of these preferences make one figure better than another. It's the same with presence. Both figures have presence, but it's not the same kind. When I had MP-13 occupying the shelf, his presence to me was that he was looking very outdated next to the more animation accurate figures around him. When I replaced him with Acoustic Wave, he pops more now due to the more vibrant colors, the size, the silhouette, and the fact that his aesthetics now fit in. That's the presence I wanted from my definitive Soundwave. Your mileage my vary, which it's pretty clear it does. And the more collection photos I've seen from other people who have Acoustic Wave, the more I notice immediately how much that figure stands out.

See I don't fault 100% accuracy for that I just fault bad methods at achieving that. You can do it without doing what they did, at least in most instances. And it changes here are simple color ones, not anything that would lead to the figure being worse. And even with this not being accurate the figure is still awful on its own.

This was painfully Funny! Long haul is my favorite Constructicon, now he is chunky because he must hold up all the combiner together... But boy this looked nice... yeah LOOKED, just that... this was the best one in looks and as you articulation according to what I saw and you said, but it... comes with an AWESOME BONUS OF BREAKING FOR FREE!!! Man when you where continuing the review with the head constantly falling down or being in strange places to just show up and remind us this broke... So they finally announced that. I've been keeping quite about that for like a year now.

Now they released a new photo on fact book that confirms that the foot is the mixmaster foot of devastator.

I used to own TFC Hercules. That set was fun to transform. But I eventually upgraded. Thankfully I saw problems with this set even before it came out. I went the Generation Toy Gravity Builder. I highly recommend it.
