While hasbro devastator/constructions lacked in possibility and had the odd mixmaster at least you could play wit it and transform the figures. While toyworld looks good combiner he’s just a giant green brick while hasbros was a functioning figure that stayed in one piece

Hasbro really should have properly weighted the figures for SS Devastator. Overload and Scavenger should be the most heavy, second being Rampage and Longhaul since these are the four figures that are meant to hold up the figure. But given how Scrapmetal and Hightower are heavier when they combine, it drags the body of the figure down, making bad to pose more than what it’s intentionally limited posing can do. (Edit: I only know just realize you’re talking about Combiner Wars Devastator.)

Well I mean their Devastater wasn't supposed to be a break, if it didn't break it wouldn't be. But yes the combiner wars did end up away better, even if there Longhaul is too fat and their Mixmaster's altmode is way wrong, all the individual bots Ended up looking more accurate and it ended up much less breakable.

One of many reasons you and dr lockdown are the best transformers channels out there is that you actually make proper reviews. You showcase posability, looks, tolerances, plastic quality, value and potential risks that could break the figure. I’m so sick of 99.9% of reviewers just talking about how it looks, saying it’s accurate and recommending it. People actually give MP-52 a pass for not having a waist swivel like are you serious? When do you see most reviewers actually put the figure in anything other than an A stance in their reviews? Like do they even handle their figures? Also other channels don’t have cliffjumper abuse

for me MP-52 is about the compromise, it's not got a waist swivel, but it's not got a cancerous transformation like crimson wings. To date there is no perfect Starscream, and tbh I'm kinda sick of people trying at this point for the 15 or so we have already. MP52 and CW are both valid choices it's just about what you're okay with.

I’m shocked nothing other than the treads broke during the recording of this. He looks alright on his own, but the second he’s compared to Bonecrusher, he looks terrible. The Takara Dai Atlas video is (in my opinion) one of your funniest and most entertaining, as the pure rage and fury radiating from the screen is pure gold.

Interesting, I did not get a new camera, but I know what the cause of that. I haven't been able to notice it myself, but because my computer broke I lost the presets for my videos. So I'd been exporting them at a higher frame rate than before because I couldn't remember what my old preset why is, so I'd just went with the nicest one that's in the base software.

There are other in alien species in the transformers who are organics and have skeletons of some type. He could be named after what he does to other aliens.

I have a theory about the matrix of leadership, i think it carries the sparks of the old primes that once bare the matrix of leadership, in which it held all their data so when optimus primal got to hold the matrix he was able to gain the aultmodes of the previous primes, except for optimus (who we haven't seen in the g1 with an ault mode) which leaves us with alphatrion (possibly) and sentinel prime, which is why optimal optimus had a jet mode and a land vechile

These aren’t G1 accurate designs or Toyworld’s own designs. These are actually Studio Ox styled Constructicons. And even though the paint does a lot to ruin the toy, I honestly like it since it gives Bonecrusher some color break up. Honestly they shouldn’t have sold these as “G1” colored Constructicons but just cell shaded repaints.

According to the behind the scenes rumors, the lead actress, who also served as co-writer and co-producer, wanted to feel what her character felt so she consented to be hit with whips, and get her head stuffed inside of a plastic bag where she had trouble breathing. Meaning if you watched that film, and particularly those scenes, they did it for real.

I am just spitting this out without checking on anything but this figure was designed with the IDW look in mind, right? Not sure how much of the G1 looks each bot had but that might explain some of the aesthetics chosen? But I do love the roasting of these figures, I never knew what these things looked like in bot mode because it immediately went into combined mode.

It seems like g1 devastator is cursed to always have a major issue when release as a toy. The size will either not scale well with the rest of the figures people may have (a third party devastator I got recently) . Bad proportions of the constructicons (the same devastator o got and CW as well). Sacrificed possibility (CW) or easy breakage (this constructicon set)

The tribes are black, they just have a very heavy shadow wash put on them, which they did not put on the fee part. And yes it is silly that the version that was supposed to be less cartoon accurate is the more color accurate version.

I prefer Scavenger myself. Bonecrusher is probably my least favorite of the Constructicons. And I honestly don't have that much of an opinion on the bay verse Bonecrusher. He's there for are like a scene and many guys like everyone else. He doesn't look anything like the supposed to. Yeah I just can't be bothered to care.

And wow...the robot mode of TW Bonecrusher looks way too much like CW Bonecrusher...especially how the legs work. But I ain't gonna even go there with how completely off the GT/JB robot mode is...or how it's even uglier than the Maketoys one.

It's not quite as accurate as I want it to be, and the individual robot modes are way off, but it does look pretty accurate, and I'm sure it's much less likely to break than this. I honestly wish that was the figure I bought instead of this, especially sense it's guaranteed to be a lot cheaper.

yeah these videos just keep making me feel justified in just getting the generation toys version of devastator he's not that expensive and he's made out of quality plastic that isn't gonna implode its just kinda sad that the best cartoon accurate devastator figure is the combiner wars figure (which probably is barely accurate)

He did say the treads liked to "pop off" so I get the feeling they're attached by friction tabs and can be popped back together. Plus the description does say "In this video the toy doesn't break." Extremely minor point in its favor
