your speech had helped me out do much for my speech in advance language arts. I chose this topic because cheer doesn't get the recognition it deserves . I am not going to use your speech but I am going to take what i have learned and use it in my speech and I will try to use a clip of you or give you some sort of credit thank you do much

I feel you! Last year my tendon tore off a piece of my bone and flung it through my leg, injuring scar tissue, my hamstring, my tendon, and breaking my lesser trochanter

The fact that you have to make a video and prove that it is a sport proves that it is not

off the definition, it isn't because showing what you can do in about 2 mins and having judges see who wins, isn't a sport! In soccer, basketball, or even track...etc. you can see who is winning by the Pinots you get and who is simply winning the race. so no cheerleading isn't a sport

Laufer SaolSki You make no sense at all... We have 2 minutes and 39 seconds to show the judges why we are best at what we do...in football, you get 12 mins in each quarter to fix the mistake you made in the last.. in cheerleading you get one shot...
@melanigarcia16169 жыл бұрын
I completely and utterly agree with you. We have less than 3 minutes to prove to the judges that we are the best and we deserve to win. We don't get do overs. We don't get second chances. We get one shot and we have to make the best of it. And in competitive cheer you do get points as well as deductions, just like football and soccer, the only difference is that we through 100+ pound people in the air and catch them while football and soccer players just kick/through a 2 pound ball while running Laufer SaolSki

I agree that the argument previously stated about how cheerleading isn't a sport is a bad argument, however, I think this is one of those topics that you pick a side, stick with it, and your choice doesn't necessarily have to be based on facts. I personally don't believe cheerleading is a sport, however, I do think that cheerleaders are very strong, both physically, and mentally, and would never yell at someone who does believe it is. Nor would I think any less of them for their opinion.

Laufer SaolSki Cheerleading is a Sport we cheer on the teams we perform for halftime and like others have said we don't get another quarter to redo. And For Competition You have 2 mins and 39 seconds to prove u deserve the victory one little mess up and you might get docked points. CHEER IS A sport Why don't you try it!
