iLoganC skin died way too fast and when it was gone I felt I was losing grip on corners. Plus they dump thane and are bit too slidy when shutting down. I think the 80 are actually more grippy for some reason.

I was finding them great with the skin on only problem is it died way too fast. Like 2 big shout down slides and it gone. Once gone I was feeling the lose grip cornering. Other wheels I’ve ridden wouldn’t lose their grip like that on that run even with skin gone. So I didn’t like them much for downhill. Great cruiser wheel though.

Jared There are a couple that stand out amongst the rest for speed and grip. First you got the Cuei Killers. The 77a I find are the fastest and have the most grip. If you are lighter rider I recommend the 75a so the wheel is soft enough for you to squish the lips when cornering. Next wheel is the Venom Magnums. They are super fast, grippy, strong and soft. If you’re also looking for a good DH wheel that’s fast, grippy, reliable and most importantly great for your buck. I recommend the Powell-Peralta race wheels. They are a great wheel for a great price if u don’t want to break the bank.
