Come back to the Philippines for a taste of our cuisine (not just the snacks). 😊 there are some commonalities with other ASEAN cuisine, mixed with some Spanish and Chinese influences too. Loved this video. And for what it’s worth, I don’t eat those leche flan flavored crackers, either - not sure who even thought that one up. Leche Flan by itself is really good (it’s like creme brulee), but it seems off to make it a flavor for saltine crackers.

I died when you tried MikMik 😂 But yes, they really are meant to be eaten in their powder form (hence the mini straw)…choking hazzard IMO but a lot of us loved it as kids…even now. Thank you for trying our snacks! Some of the things you have there (boy bawang / marty’s / piattos / nova) are really great paired with cold beer. If you’re drinking at home and don’t want to cook, you can try them as that. If you ever come back here in the Ph and want to try more, here are some other snacks: Stick-o - chocolate wafer sticks Lala - these are kind of chewy: mini chocolate bars Cloud 9 - chocolate bar with caramel Clover chips - corn chips with different flavors Tempura chips - shrimp flavored corn (?) chips Langka / Ube candy Much ❤ from the 🇵🇭

Can’t find them again, anymore. Another popular one up here on the border is all-dressed which is a mix of flavors: ketchup, barbecue sauce, sour cream and onion and salt & vinegar. It’s getting harder to find, though, too.

Piknik we have in our local walmart here in the states so im not sure but that might be an American snack. They keep them right next to the french fried onions that you put on green bean caserole so not sure if that an alternative topper for that or common caserole topper in general i dunno. Im sure people just snack on them too but i dont see many people going after them.

I haven’t watched Perth’s videos in a long while so I was surprised when he says something like “it’s my channel, I can say whatever I want” and to just get over it if we don’t agree with what he says. It’s really nice that he doesn’t have to be too cautious with the things he says here. Such a shame that you weren’t given the Original Piknik Shoestring Fries, I think you’d like that more than this 50% less sodium ones. Also, I hope you get to try the 3D Mangorind (instead of the mango tamarind balls) next time. We still have a lot of other snacks so… part two, perhaps?
