So the song name is a cheeky one. For some background, one of the main composers of Homestuck proper is Toby Fox, who many know for creating Undertale/Deltarune and composing it's music as well. Toby Fox is also most famous for creating Megalovania (of course) Prior to using it in Undertale, though (And after Earthbound, of course) Megalovania was featured in Homestuck, namely as part of a section involving Aradia. The song title 'Yeah It Is' is because around the 3:19 mark, the music incorporates Megalovania. So for anyone savvy on homestuck or Undertale, their reaction would immediately be "IS THAT FUCKING MEGALOVANIA???" To which the answer is "Yeah It Is" Also, really got a kick out of the 'Kinda creepy' comment. You have no idea how fitting that is for this character in particular lmao. You catching how the song kind of 'starts over' in two particular sections is also a good catch. Without going into it too much, Aradia goes through two very drastic 'changes' in Homestuck which completely alter her character and personality. Each time it 'starts over' it could be related to the different phases in her life. And each change is actually really fitting now that I think about it.

I've never before seen someone listening to MeGaLoVania without noticing. Brilliant tbh. For reference, before its infamous run in Undertale, MeGaLoVania was used for a Homestuck animation of Aradia Megido's death, rebirth as a god, and showdown with a combo anthropomorphic dog slash playing card slash chess piece fueled by two exploding universes, which she defeats by hitting the pause button and then using his body as a shortcut to the multiverse's afterlife. Homestuck is WILD. Edit: The animation is called [S] Wake.

homestuck is not something i would have EVER expected you to listen to, but there are so many tracks that i think would absolutely blow your mind. the comic itself has its ups and downs, but the music for it is nothing but bangers

The title is because you go "is that Megalovania?" and the answer is right there. Megalovania was Aradia's theme in Homestuck, even though a lot of people associate it with another character, so having it return for Pesterquest just made sense. Also a lot of James Roach's titles are like that. Like, one of them is an ascii image of bowsette. Like. Literally the title is a bowsette ascii image.

Megalovania is my favourite genre of music. Given its roots in Homestuck, I'm not surprised to get some of it in Pesterquest.

Visual novels are games. Pesterquest is the visual novel spinoff of the web comic Homestuck which has lots of music and animation in it, since a comic online is not restricted by the medium of paper.

This song makes me think that Megalovania is more connected to Homestuck than anything else, even Undertale. It seems very tied to Homestuck's story, especially regarding Aradia and Vriska.

Never heard this one before but I'm a big fan. It gives the feeling of _"Shit went south and now we're here. Sucks, but eh."_ There's a sort of eery loneliness to it, a coming to terms with misfortune and just trying to live in spite of it all, but it's chill and restful, like things aren't gonna be too bad so long as we try. Or something. That's also coming from the image itself, Aradia's design makes it look like they musta seen some *_SHIET_* and the background looks almost like the world's on the brink of collapse. And then the fuckin' Megalovania just comes outta _nowhere,_ gyadamn! I know Megan was used in Homestuck prior to Undie but still, gimme a warning before you just throw that shit in there dude. Chill banger, I'mma add it to my playlist.

You really do not have to be making that "videos and visual novels" distinction, visual novels ARE games! In fact, VN fans have been trying to fight *against* people not treating it as such
