The TRAP for ALL PESTS! Rat trap, Rat killer, Weasel trap, Stoat trap, Squirrel trap, Rabbit trap, Mink trap and even Ferret trap and Possum trap! We show you how to set Trapinator DOC traps. Setting the DOC 150, the DOC 200 and the DOC 250 you need a steady hand!
Game keepers, pest controllers, farmers and anyone with a need to keep pests at bay need to see this trap in action.
There are lots of homemade rat traps, homemade squirrel traps, but these traps are usually cruel and illegal! We have all seen the squirrel catapult trap or the squirrel sling shot trap on KZbin. Both are highly illegal and break many laws of animal welfare. Squirrel trap homemade or not, it has to be legal. If you want to know, "how to trap a squirrel" and you want to trap that rat or squirrel legally, make sure its on the Spring Trap Approval Order!
These pest traps are on the Spring Trap Approval Order in the UK and the Agreement of International Humane Trapping Standards which covers Europe, Canada and the U.S.A.
These traps should be used inside a tunnel. Trapinator makes a tunnel for the traps, as you can see in the video, but you can make your own tunnels and Trapinator or Killgerm can help you with instructions on how to make a tunnel that is legal to use on the DOC trapping system.
The D.O.C. 150 Trap can be used to kill rats, squirrels, weasels and stoats.
The D.O.C. 200 Trap can be used to kill all the above pests plus minks.
The D.O.C. 250 Trap can be used on all the above pests, plus Rabbits can be trapped with this trap! And you can use the DOC 250 to trap ferrets in Northern Ireland.
Trapinator is a New Zealand company that invented the DOC traps and the Waddington Trigger.
The traps where designed to help the people of New Zealand and the Department of Conservation (where the DOC name comes from) to reach their goal of eradicating all pests/invasive species from New Zealand by the year 2050. This became known as Predator Free 2050.
The Trapinator traps are being used not only in New Zealand but as part of conservation projects around the world to stop pest species from killing native wildlife, especially ground nesting birds that need to be protected from pests like the Norway rat (Brown Rat), stoats, weasels, etc. The D.O.C. Trapinator traps have been used to great effect on the Orkney Islands to trap rats and stoats.
The traps must be used inside a tunnel, but the traps can be used inside and outside to catch pests. The Pest Interceptors love these traps as the rats of the Midlands won't go anywhere near a normal snap back rat trap!!!
