Thanks guys!! Very good information! Still let me give food for thought. Routines cause anxiety. Not being able to predict when things are going to happen reduces their stress. Many dog trainers and veterinary Tom Mitchel from Absolute Dogs are calling for ditching the routine and ditching the bowl as I way of enriching pet lifes.

Yes...just use common sense...too much is too much...my sister in law had a small maltese that she let jump off the bed, the furniture etc...and at age 12 she had a bad spine..she hurt it from jumping all those years..perfecly healthy except she was in torture from her hurt spine, and she had to put her down.😢

How can I help my cat take nutritional supplements? If my cat smells something out of the ordinary, she won't eat her food. My dog has a sensitive stomach and picky about food. She does best on a bland diet. I don't know how to get healthy stuff in her diet.

My cat won't play with laser light. The laser makes my dog crazy and she gets depressed if she is not playing with it.

Is it only vitamin D3 or regular D. I know fish is high in D but how much? if you always use fatty fish as a whole source,do they also need it on top of fish for vitamin D. I have been trying to research alot and read alot of the most popular books on holistic medicine and raw food. The learning is constant and I am definitely overwhelmed by the various opinions? Thanks in advance! I m trying to figure out what my 5 yr.old German shepherd male who is rawfed and 88 lbs needs if he needs some more as I am worried about him being deficient and not getting enough for his breed ! This breed has been having so many issues, and they are getting significantly worse with over breeding , poor nutrition and genetics diseases are producing weaker dogs ! We are losing the breed ! This is a travesty! They have proven to be one of the most effective working breed and I think it would be a enormous loss to mankind for a breed of their stature . They must be saved. They have served us greatly and they deserve to be revered! Even the police dogs are suffering from the lack of knowledge on appropriate nutrition! Please for the love of God , They are all suffering from eating poison kibble and expected to work on a diet that is not appropriate to thrive on! Its not only heartbreaking, but it should be a crime! I'm worried about their future! I have a German Shepherd male who eats raw and I am living on disability because of chronic lyme disease and I have been trying to find a doctor to help me for more than 15 years. The medical field has been leaving us for dead and we have to make a change starting from the insurance companies that won't cover anything for the doctors to treat lyme ! Denied insurance coverage , lack of evidence based studies due to lack the funding , down to inadequate testing equipment is a travesty! The USA western medicine approach has been known for being the worst kind of medicine when it comes to autoimmune disease, and it's a problem! It is so behind compared to other countries and the insurance companies are getting fat and rich at the expense of the vulnerable people who are sick! people suffering and are not getting help they needed! We are seeing the same problem in our companion animals! We are now seeing the results and the power of holistic medicine and lack of results western medicine provides ! Its ass backward this way of thinking! The medical field still feels that you can help without treating the body as a whole system . We have people who are sick and suffering and they are insured ! This is immoral and absurd and this is what I hope changes! it's just not in human medicine but veterinary medicine as well! Stand together people for change ! For change to occur, we must stand together and force them to listen ! We have the power to force their hand if we don't give in! It's up to us to make sure that we are getting the message to the public as well as the medical profession ! Thank you for all you do Dr !
