Maine is such a cool and beautiful state...I went to the Creed house and took pics from the car, but the owners were on the porch so didnt want to intrude...The cemetery is pretty eerie in person...Wish I got to see the other spots like burial ground place with all the rocks and cool scenery...Went to Kings house also in Bangor, real cool small town you can easily walk around...Go if you get the chance! :)

Lolly Ann Ghosts of Carmel Maine just posted a paranormal Investigation at Mount Hope Cemetery at the Stephen King filming site. A lot of people claimed Mount Hope is haunted. This was the first paranormal investigation ever done there.

This is so cool! In my town here in Finland, we have pet sematary too. Its in the middle of the woods and its really scary place. It has creepy fence over it and there is bad karma. Once one grave was opened and there was pieces of fur in there and it looked like that something was trying to come out of there. Huh...my hamster is buried in there.

The Truck that hit Gage is in Maine too. It's a Peterbilt. Some trucking company owns it and has it on their property. It was custom built by Peterbilt specifically for Pet Sematary.

This music is so creepily awesome; way to go! It fits with the theme of the movie so well. What I could NEVER understand is why Dale Midkiff (Louis Creed) didn't become a bigger movie star- he is SO hot!! The only other films I have seen him in were a couple of mediocre Lifetime ones; makes no sense to me... anyone else agree?

Wow, great share! What about Pet Semetary 2? I know the burial grounds in that movie was shot in, I believe, Dekalb County, Georgia. Great music, very legitimately creepy and omg the woods!!! When you turned the camera around, I couldn't see the ground/trail leading back to the main road. It looked so confusing, I would have freaked out trying to find my way back! But wow, Ludlow, Maine looks like a lovely, picturesque town!

The reason Judd's house looks different in the movie, from the real house, is that they built a facade around the house, that they could later realistically burn down, without burning down the actual house, which was protected underneath.

Yes the indian burial ground is a real cemetery. Called Mimac burial ground i checked it out everything in Maine The house is on in hancock town 303 pont rd. Main

Brilliant, thanks for this!! Huge fan of both Pet Sematary films and always wondered what the locations might look like today. Obviously the rock piles at the Micmac burial ground are not in the positions they were in the movie, but they are very likely the ones used as why would the film makers bother moving huge boulders too far! I would have to have taken one!! Do you know if it's the same location used in Pet Sematary 2? Awesome video. Peace...

The woods that the Pet Sematary is in is certainly real but it is not by the house. They used a different filming location for the woods scenes. The trail leading to the burial ground with the tree roots is in Acadia National Park in Maine. The Rock wall they climb is near a Boat Company and then the burial ground itself is in another location.

The exterior of Jud's house was just a facade built over the existing house that was there. The production had designed it so that when Jud's house burnt down the actual house inside would not be harmed.
