Im getting a headache just looking at all the info online regarding shipping animals, Im trying to bring my uncles dog (my uncle passed away) from Mexico here to the USA but the laws between Mexico and the US are so confusing and so many websites, Does anyone know what websites are helpful and what international airlines do this. Is it even possible to have the animal fly on their own on the airplane from Mexico and I can just pick him up at airport near me?

Traveling in cabin is the best option for your pet/dogs if you want them not to be trauma psychological damaged. In the Cargo, based on statistic they die each year due to lack of oxygen. I am really looking for a safest option for my dog. is there any ship/cruise travel available from LA to Europe where i can have my own cabin and my dog with me?

lili M Where did you get this statistic from? I also want to move my two cats, from EU to Australia. I hope to find a safe way.. any percentage of it going wrong is unacceptable. But i don’t want to sit the coming 10 years on one spot because of them.. difficult 🙂

Nope not on cargo ever!!!!!!! It ll be traumatic why cargo def u should know the reason for it ..so pls dont recommends that ..in cabin is best everyone...we all have pets why ppl are acting stupid what can a poor lil dog or cat possibly do Jesus christ..

dez Light moving overseas and traveling with my two cats but I cannot take them both in cabin because I am flying solo. In this case do you think it is better to rehome or give up my cat, or just place him in cargo so I can take him with me? Some times there isn't a choice.

Plus if your pet is too disturbing you can be asked to deboard the plane.

Depends on how long the flight is.. Europe to Australia is 16 hours. Just on your own is already a nightmare. Having your cat sitting in a little basket for all that time might be even more mindwrecking. Cargo too, but then it’s not reminding you of it all the time. Maybe a cruise is a better idea.

Victoria Shore 100% do not Rehome. They will feel worse if you give them up rather than sitting in cargo (usually it’s safe statistically wise) will be a better outcome
