My mom boarded her Bichon and Maltese at a recommended facility for 3 days. Mom came back a day early and found her 2 little white dogs, outside in a small kennel in the freezing rain and snow all muddy and sick, no overhead shelter. Be wary of recommended facilities, thoroughly check them out first.
