Peta - I love your videos. I am new to colouring books and have found your reviews and advice very helpful and your videos inspiring. As a fellow Aussie (Tasmanian) living in UK for the last 18 years, I look forward to your next video as a little taste of home. I am still working on your Enchanted Forest Duck Pond colour along but on watching this video have already ordered the Magical City colouring book. I already have the complete set of inktense pencils and the water brushes so can't wait to follow along with this one. I find colouring very relaxing and "de-stresses me from my job as a front-line police officer with Hampshire Constabulary. Thank you so much for your videos they are bloody brilliant. I feel absolutely compelled to watch every single second of your videos for fear that I might miss some very valuable tip if I don't. I learned a LOT from this one and if I'm not mistaken, there are several parts in which you continue with this page. I have been wanting Derwent Inktense pencils for quite some time, but was nervous about trying them as I don't have much experience with water-soluble media, but having garnered some good information from this video, I feel quite confident that I can enjoy them. Thank you, Peta!

Also not sure if I have missed the video but how does the derwent inktense go compared with faber castell classic watercolor pencil? Thanks just wondering which one is more colorful
@PetaHewitt8 жыл бұрын
+carmela mercado Hi Carmela. Inktense pencils are Indian ink in a pencil form. they're colours are very rich and bright and they dry permanently. They can be used for art on fabric that requires washing as the ink, when set properly, won't wash out. Watercolour pencils are exactly that... watercolour in pencil form. they're colours are lovely but less dense and vibrant and if water is added to them again after they have dried they will activate again as they do not set permanently.
@elladsm20028 жыл бұрын

+Cleo Fraser Hi Cleo. i understand your confusion. Initially we thought this would be a three part tutorial but when we came to edit the 2nd part, which would show all of the building, it ran well over 2 hours! So we broke it into two sections. Hello. First, you have amazing videos. But I´d like to ask, what is that kind of brush you are using to water color? I mean how is it named? Im not from the same country as you so I was a little bit confused :)

PETA, is WHITE a colour? I always thought it was the absence of colour but some of my group's members say I'm wrong. Whereas, I thought BLACK was all colours together. I'd just your opinion on this 'white & black' issue. Thank you.Another fantastic video. Thank you.
@PetaHewitt8 жыл бұрын
This is a fun question and is really subjective, from a physics point of view I would say no black and white are not colours (In physics, a colour is visible light with a specific wavelength). Colour as light (Not physics) White is considered a colour and black is not. Pigments and coloring agents Black is a colour white is not From the point of view of vision and reflection this is were the answer starts to get debatable with trees falling in forests or bears doing there business in the forest if we don't witness it does it exist. If you google this you can find better answers than mine.
