Sinatra even when not working didnt wake till 230-3pm...and stayed up all night.....he had a huge room full of trains..he painted and of course read a lot....and obviously when working would drink till 6-7 am after doing his last show around 2am. more often then not at dinner parties his last wife loved to give..he rarely took part...it was not unusual for guests not to even see him

Sinatra wasn't partying 24 7 that's for sure. Yes he liked the nightlife but I'm sure there were many quiet nights at home and alone but nobody writes about that because it's not interesting enough to write about!

Hammil is dead. He died years ago sadly

Sadly yes. Hamill was great - Sinatra was even greater.

It's good to see that Hamill is still going ...but he has nothing worth saying about Sinatra that hasn't been said often before and better.

i doubt many people knew Sinatra read everything he got his hands on....only heavy duty fans would know that....like me

Then you haven't read his book, "Why Sinatra Matters." There are some stories in there that you can't read anywhere else....like the time Sinatra and his entourage walk into one of his favorite Manhattan haunts, a restaurant with the kitchen downstairs from the dining room, using a dumbwaiter between the floors. Sinatra walks over to the dumbwaiter and yells down, "Fuck you, Howie!" From down below comes a distinctly Asian voice, "Fuck you, too, Flank!" Tell me you can't picture that in your minds' eye.
