As an european who's recently gotten into baseball, these little games are fascinating. All the engineering and passion that went into making them back in the day was really ingenious, and knowing the love for them is still alive, in the form of new, improved re-releases gives me a little hope for the future.

I'm honestly impressed by how much fun these baseball games are. And there is such a variety on the market as well, some are quite fancy!

These look like a home version of the arcade game that works in a virtually identical way. 😊

@@cyberleaderandy1 Pretty much. The 1979 version has a very "pinball" feel due to the shape alone.

my favorite baseball game was the baseball pinball game you'd see at restraunts back in the day that if you won you won whatever the ball was (usually a piece of gum)

The old game needs instant replay. The ball clearly went into the Home run hole, and it was called a strike.

I saw similar games I believe at Marshall's a few yrs ago during Christmas time and I still painfully regret not getting them 🤦‍♂🤦‍♂ Lol! And ever since then, I have not seen Marshall's bring them back. Well, also because I keep forgetting to check every Christmas including this past one 🤣🤣 I sure hope I don't forget this December Haha! Cheers

You should do Sharp Shooters vs Klondice. They're basically the same game but with a different skin. Sharp Shooters is from 94, and Klondice is current. Really fun dice game

It is a shame they just didn't make the newer version higher. To give room for sorting trays like the old version. It just gives it a nice vibe. They needed to make the curve magnetic adjustable. To back out or in to fine-calibrate it by players.

I also liked how the 1979 game sorted your hits. It also wasn't as dependent on being perfectly level to play. Just a few little tweaks to the modern version could make an excellent baseball game!

The picture with Rose at bat is when he was with Reds and the other one is when he was with the Phillies. I'd rather have the Rose one because it's vintage. I'm a very nostalgic person. 😁Cool video. 👌

I agree, it was a neat little find, but not the most fun. I am glad it motivated me to try a newer baseball game. It was fun to see how things have changes over the years.

Wish you would have actually shown the batting mechanism of the classic baseball game. That would have been interesting to see a pitch and hit like you had done with the pete rose game. Slight disappointment there
