i'VE been producing bespoke parallel pedal boards for ages, nice to find a video from a fellow enthusiast, goood clip, H6UK.

That little "pass-the-analog-signal-through"-feature of their digital pedals sold me on them!

4:07 they also have a "parallel" conversation in feet-morse-code. This guys are amazing!

Semi parallel on the G System is superb for this. I know it’s becoming “old tech” but the tone is just so amazing!

Could we have a new G-System, TC? Pretty please?

Great video. This really helped me out cause I bought a gmajor a few weeks ago and was having problems with my tone with it on and this has showed me why. Currently sitting in bed at one am now and have to wait till the morning until I can set it up properly with my jvm. Thanks a bunch!

I like using a Boss LS-2 to mix the dry/wet signal as well, the line A for reverb and line B for delay then they mix to one output.
@hensfear6 жыл бұрын
Ls-2 is a one of a kind piece of gear... if you are a creative one. Take notes Mr. Tore.

But you have to kill the dry signal in the delay.

Nice video.very informative ..i hadnt thought of delay caused by digital conversion..long time flash backx4 user.

how are you not capitalizing on the name "Tore-Pete-O"?

That needs to be the name of a pedal. A pedal that dose both delay and reverb paralled with tone print for both sides. HOF and FB in one. I would buy that!!!

Hey Mr. Thorn! This is why I have have been using Marshall 30th Anniversary heads with a parallel loop. It just works killer for the delay and reverb. I just can't get used to the series loop...
@samerbata6 жыл бұрын
The Musicomlab EFX allows you to do parallel and series 😊

Guys, does Plethora keeps the dry guitar signal so u can add/mix wet/effects on top?? Or it converts everything into digital? Big thanks ❤
@OzziePete16 жыл бұрын
You explained that it adds complexity to the pedal arrangement then said a mixer/splitter system would be needed.... So when is TC bringing out a small form mixer/splitter that can be mounted onto a pedal board?

Well damn, Pete, you've got us there! Great question/idea! :-)

Dear Pete, ist der any best practice to insert time based effects in the parallel FX loop interns of clarity and signal level. Thinking of the electroharmonix tri parallel?

Is a stereo out on a TC pedal the same as a dual mono out, or will using it that way setting one's self up for phase issues?
@robertj13036 жыл бұрын
So creating parallel in mono is quite easy, but how about creating parallel in stereo when you want stereo flashback and stereo hof. How do you do that without an expensive switcher?
@hoover7286 жыл бұрын
Lots of good information here but I'm sure it's not true that in order to have an all wet signal on a delay or reverb you need to convert the dry signal to digital as well. I know that for example the Catalinbread delays and reverbs go full wet, and the dry signal remains analog. And I've played bucket brigade delays that go full wet, and since even the wet signal isn't converted to digital obviously the dry isn't either.
@hoover7286 жыл бұрын
Actually I'm really confused now: I just watched a demo of your new Gauss tape echo and it goes fully wet. So either it converts the dry signal to digital or it proves that doesn't need to happen; either way it contradicts what is said in this video.

Btw, does all TC Electronic pedals have the same phase? What solution does TC Electronic recommends when a pedal from a different brand is out of phase with a TC Electronic pedal in a wet/dry setup? I have a wet/dry setup with two TC pedals on the wet side, and on the dry side I have three overdrives, and one of them is out of phase with my TC pedals, I recently found out.
