While in Edinburgh, LJ09CEU (AD8434/39> will have seen her sisters from the batch AD8434: LJ09CAX(/6), LJ09CBF(/7), LJ09CBU(/9), LJ09CBX(/11), LJ09CCE(/14), and LJ09CAO(/3) all now part open top and painted bright orange for Bright Bus Tours with McGill's fleet numbers 8930 to 8935. I actually took the 6 of them to be recertified at the Livingston DVSA station after they were converted to manual wheelchair ramps while they were owned by First, prior to their transfer to McGill's

With regards to the E400 and the fuel get a short length of blue hose and use that to help aid fueling can use a HGV pump then. We have the same issue with our preserved ones

Knowing how to deal with bad conditions is 90% of getting out of the mire and getting on the road; may years ago, I attended an event where the car parking was on grassed slopes, it rained heavily during the event and may people could not get out; I was driving a VW Scirocco with 4 up, so should have stood no chance of getting out, yet I did without any outside assistance.

As a little tip have a supply of split pins on you when feeling the bus at petrol stations there is a series of hole thru the pump handle and a clip push the pin thru the handle and the clip will hold the trigger until the auto cut off trips in ,saves holding the trigger all the time

That was a neat pipe flaring tool, beats a split block with the correct size hole, a vice, a punch and an hammer. Motorway service areas must have a minimum canopy height of 4.75m, 15ft. Other filling stations one takes a chance. She was a pig to fill, even some cars can't cope with modern pump flows.

Truckers tip for you, a tennis ball is a good thimg for wedging the fuel pump handle. Also how irritating is it that petrol station canopies often mark heights in metric only. Low bridges must be marked in imperial or both but never solely metric. As a result we measure load heights in imperial.
