I have a mate who works for Johnstone's Paints and they are the dog's danglies. They also do woodcare products like Danish Oil and at one point were producing flexible metal paints for use on off-shore oil rigs that was very, very salt resistant.

Hi Pete, Glad to see that the water filter was tightened for the journey home and then replaced, which I knew you'd do!! Once getting the correct paint and rollers has the finish popping!!!!!!! Loved the E-Bike, especially when you removed the Limiting Controls, as that is something that I'd do too........

The rear platform "ceiling" light/s are not original (one of the later Metroline? modifications) but I think in the larger form they look rather nice, even if I associate them with that pale mauve moquette that was also added rather than the classic red.

We call them “the bathroom light” the originals are nicer, I have it on 2355

@@PeteAndHisBus There was a single decker coach (bus?) that had them in the art deco style ECW bodied Bristol I think, though more common were diamond shaped ceiling diffusers which were really nice. Southdown's Harrington (and Beadle?) bodied vehicles had rather large dome diffusers in the ceiling. take a look at next East Grinsted running day

Very easy to achieve 30-35mph on a road racing/sports bike, once got stopped by a TD officer for a clocked 42mph through the village, a lot of sweet talking to avoid a dangerous cycling charge.

Absolutely love your show. Just want to win the lottery and buy myself a routemaster! But recently the difference in sound between you being recorded live on camera and your voice-over recordings of other sections, your voice-over mic is just picking up too many "clicky" pronounced letters: p's, t's, d's, b's, c's, k's etc. if you know what I mean? It's like you're spitting at the mic. Once I picked up on it I can't bear to listen to the voice overed bits. Must be a sensitive mic or something. Anyway, apart from that I'm an avid fan.
