Track Stack can be donne by selexting multiple traxks (with the multi-selext button), then tap on the selected tracks then chose either folder or suming stack

Early in the session, someone asked about being able to mark sections of a song as in GarageBand. You could set up an arranger track made up of a series of regions, each region representing part of the song. You can rename regions so that you could give each region a name representing a part of the song. Of course you need to make sure that no data is added to that particular track. Not sure about marking sections of tracks: you can do it but not sure it will give the equivalent of an arrangement track.

@@PeteJohnsMusic After revisiting this it isn’t the same yet. Markers work somewhat similar except they don’t allow you to actually sort them. I actually never used that feature in GarabageBand ever. I can see how it is useful. Probably a future feature enhancement. I can see how that is super useful though.

There is no scoresheet like you'd see in a music book, there's just the piano roll.

@@autisticChronicles360 thank you for your answer. That’s a pity because Logic for macOS does have a music notation view. When orchestrating for strings it’s much more helpful to see the notes, rather then the piano roll, at least for a trained composer. I’ve always been using score editor in Logic. That’s a real problem for me.

@@mirkoferremi welp, that's Apple. They always have to make it so you have to download the desktop version in order to get features like music notation and crossfade (which is also a bummer for me). At least I'm able to do pitch bend automation, but I don't know how to get the perfect pitch every time (since the numbers from -63 to 127 doesn't correspond to semitones).

Lacking the score editor found in the Mac version is a real drawback and may lead to me deciding not to use the iPad version. I have also been searching for a way to export midifiles from midi tracks without any luck so far. There may be a way?

Hi anyone know where the Sampler device is in Logic Pro ios like the one in Garageband where you record your voice then play it up and down the keyboard immediately?

Good question! You can use the Sample Alchemy or Quick Sampler but simply dragging any sample or loop from the browser on to a track header, then selecting "Quick Sampler" from there. I show it in this video - kzbin.info/www/bejne/gp6umIyar5uippo

Tap the + to add a new track. Tap the three dots ... on the MIDI card, then tap Patch/Instrument, then tap Instruments. Tap Sampler and you'll see Quick Sampler, Sample Alchemy, and Sampler (Multi-Sample). You can drag an audio recording of your voice onto the Quick Sampler. Tap the Plug-ins icon at the bottom of the screen, then double-tap the Quick Sampler plugin to see the full interface to mess with it some more.

oh pete and there are other issues , this thing doesnt work properly on a ipad pro 2018 with a A12 chip like they said it would ,by saving a project it has overload issues

Bugger! Yes, Patrick over at the GarageBand Guide has been testing it with other iPads and just dropped a video which would be a good reference.
