Great video this and just showed my youngest lad the importance of playing both footed. What a tribute. I supported Peter Beardsley FC from the 1st time I ever seen him play in Mexico 86. As a 9 year old I never understood the hype of Maradona when we had this genius. From Newcastle to Hartlepool he never seized to amaze me. Just gutted I never got to see him in action for Carlisle Utd as a youngster as no video records of him from them that I know of? And when he hung his boots up I finally started supporting Coventry City 100%.

I remember watching (I think it was called this) Peter Beardsley Lightning strikes twice on VHS (not a Bond flick) which was pretty much all the goals after his return to Newcastle. Just remember being in awe of his goals and skills, so underrated, both him and Cole were the perfect combo.
