Meaning what ? That PB is just another one of 'em ?!!! And it goes back to the 60s, the Beatles causing so many to want to be like them !!..Even the 50s caused guitarist envy...Buddy Holly, Dwayne Eddie, Bill Haley,...Rock and roll caused it all..along with the great JGs of the jazz era; Charlie Christian, onward to Kessel, Benson and Pass. (See mine above !!)

@@MarkInLA meaning what? There are too many guitar players in the world. And there are lots and lots of good players too. And lots and lots of really, really good players too. It's not NEARLY such a big deal to be a great player as it was 50 years ago.

@@casparuskruger4807 Even so, the definition of what makes a guitarist "great" is subjective. Musical taste varies widely, and what might be considered exceptional to one person may not resonate as strongly with another. Despite the increasing number of talented players, there will always be a demand for innovation, creativity, and unique voices in the world of music. Being a great guitarist still requires dedication, skill, and the ability to connect with listeners emotionally, which are timeless qualities that transcend the number of players in the world.
