Wow, what a party it has been since the late sixties. Where has time gone. To Peter Frampton, one of rock's greatest guitarist of all time, I wish you well, and thanks for all the memories.

You express that so well my comrade, since the late 60's when music blossomed into a magical journey and gave us a unique voice, Peter is one of the exceptional players, he developed his craft with love and care, I salute this man and all of the music lovers who made this a golden time in human history.

Travesty that Frampton isn't in the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame! Saw him @ the Forum on his Farewell Tour, greatest concert of my life & i've seen over 30. Sad that his reign is over as far as live concerts go. Thank you, Peter, for Frampton Comes Alive and all the joy you've provided for us fans, for the world. God bless you forever...

I grew up listening to Humble Pie and Mountain, as well as nearly every British rock band that came along. If it was hard driving rootsy sort of rock, I was into it. Then when Frampton formed Frampton's Camel I was a young teenager and went to see him live while living in Memphis Tenn. With accompanying bands like Brownsville station, and Slade. What a year for rock and roll, of course I was blown away. I am too old now to remember the full set list for that wonderful night, but I do remember him doing some of the classics that made it to his iconic "Comes Alive". I still have two copies in vinyl and at least one or two on HD Disk. IF you are ever feeling blue. Just drop the needle down on Side one and don't stop till the last track on side 4. What a legend. Keep doing whatever you do that makes you you Mr Frampton. And Baby I love your way. Pz Out, my friend.

@peterframpton4773 Wow. Peter. I hope this comment gets to you. I have been inspired by your soloing on “Do You Feel...” esp. Your MELODIC scale. I’m at a loss for words. Really great choice of notes. Like singing. It’s put an impression on my playing. It’s definitely not “ dweedling” like a lot of guys. It’s hard to find melodic players. Your solos are happy and powerful Thank you for all the lovely solos You, David Lindley, and Leon McCauliff ( Bob Wills and the Texas playboys) are my favorite melodic guitarists.

I had an awesome Peter Frampton experience that had HIM laughing. He finished his set in the local outdoor pavilion in Pittsburgh and he had one of those t-shirt cannons onstage. I was waving my arms like crazy and after some deliberation shot the t-shirt my way. Well, it came out like a rocket, much faster than I anticipated and struck me right in the forehead and went straight up in the air. A guy behind caught it and Peter’s reaction was priceless as he laughed at the situation. I thought it was extremely funny as well and was not embarrassed by my faux pas on “the catch”. A lot of laughs all around and a super fond memory. I gotta go get a Frampton t-shirt now.
