This is one of the best live performances of Sledgehammer I've ever seen. The line-up includes (yes indeed it was) Brian May, David Rhodes (Gabriel's long time guitarist), Midge Ure (Thin Lizzy & Ultravox) on guitar and tambourine, Phil Collins on drums, Howard Jones on keyboards, Mick Karn (Japan) on fretless bass and L. Shankar on double violin. Such energy! Thanks for posting this one John!

There were two drummers for this gig. 🙂 Phil Collins and Mark Brzezicki (Procol Harum, Big Country)

Classic. His video broke MTV. Check it out. Harry Stiles did a great cover. Gabriel had style. It may be Brian May since this is the Prince's trust fun raiser. Phil Collins was a fixture with the Trust and on the board. It must have been a hoot to be playing with Phil again.

Glad i found your channel...Peter Gabriel was a founding member of Genesis with Phil Collins...in the 70s
