I know several fit older people- in their 70s/80s & even 90s- who have visibly gone down hill in the last year- missing seeing friends and family, popping out for coffee, lunch, pub visits, shopping, enjoying the countryside. As one person said to me at the weekend-'I missed the bluebells and the lambs last Spring, looks like I'm going to miss them again this year'- because she can't go ten miles from home to stroll in the countryside but has to make do with walking round the local housing estate.

I know of quite a few people who have had very unpleasant side effects after the vaccine which no one seems to be talking about. I work in care and my agency is putting its staff under a lot of pressure to have the vaccine - and want to know the reasons if you refuse. I'm not against the vaccine but I don't want to be anyone's guinea pig and I want to be free to make my own choices. I've also had Covid and am extremely fit so really feel I don't require any vaccine for a virus which is only fatal for certain groups and only a minority of them. A old lady I look after had the vaccine a week ago and has been extremely ill since - vomiting, sleeping continually, off her legs. I'm pretty sure she's not a one off especially as a friend who works in a Acquired Brain Injury Unit says two of their clients had severe epileptic seizures after the vaccine after years of their epilepsy being under control and them being seizure free. No one is talking about this type of experience - why not?

Though I can't say I ever disliked PH, I didn't pay much attention to him prior to the COVID era and his (now long lasting) weekly talk with Mike Graham. Despite me not even living in a country related to the Anglo sphere (not to say the UK) I started a habit of randomly listening to what he has to say/write, regardless of the topic. He is one of the last of a generation of commentators who could 'round up' an issue, present his side brilliantly, yet still acknowledging the possibility he is wrong.

It's my step family but tbh I couldn't stand most of them anyway It's my parents I'm worried about my step dad has turned into a paranoid skitzo and him and Mum are patiently awaiting their injection of infection. My Mum wanted to listen to me and my brother but stepdad just goes ballistic smh.

@@caroleyre I sympathize, on the other end, it's my grandchildren I worry about the most. Whilst they are not coming for children yet. I know it will be unvaccinated children are being neglected so the government will... I'm refusing, partly in the hope that it will delay the kids being jabbed.
