Sound of Silence still gives me chills. So does 19 You and Me from Peter's side. From Home Free's video of the same song feat. Peter, I end up crying. The visuals from Home Free's get me every time. I THINK, but can't recall, Peter and Austin swap the melodic line? It's been a while since I watched the videos together so I could be remembering wrong. But two totally different videos, totally different feelings from the song. Thanks! ^_^

For me Tim & Peters Best video is “Greensleeves”!! This is an old English folk song that dates back to time of Henry VIII. Filmed in one take! It really shows Tim’s incredible Range!! Peters voice compliments HF voices! Another Great Reaction of both videos!!

Peter Hollens ft Tim Foust with Misty Mountains is a must watch! He’s also collaborated with a husband-wife duo called The Hound +The Fox several times, my favourite is their cover of God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen. I love The Hound + The Fox, they’re amazing!

Peter is phenomenal at arranging and laying the harmonies. In a lot of his videos he sings all the parts. I saw a video about his process - I don’t remember where. He said that if he has low parts to sing he does those first thing in the morning. I love his collaborations with Tim and Home Free. And I love your reactions!

With Peter and Tim, you have 2 guys with large ranges ( 4 & 5 octaves respectively). So yes, they do the background and the melody & then Peter layers it making it sounds so full. I love their voices in harmony.

This is a great version of Sound of Silence and I love the homage to Simon and Garfunkel that Peter puts in at the end with the black and white pose. It’s similar to an album cover of S&G. BTW, thanks for the mention of Sam Robson. He’s the reason I got into listening to multi-track and acapella artists and thus found Home Free. I love Sam’s version of How Great Thou Art.

Speaking of Peter Hollens..in his Incredible version of I SEE FIRE from The Hobbit... I read that he used 98 different sound tracks layered into 8-14 vocal parts for that video it is AMAZING !!!! Now that you've reacted to PH's version let's do the HF version!! 🥰 The two versions we're released on the same day at the same time. It was fun trying to hear the differences, but for an untrained ear it was difficult. Your trained ear will pick up on a lot of things I've missed. That's always the case. I saw someone mentioning Peter Hollens' version of "I See Fire" (the one he does alone) and I second that. It's my favourite Peter Hollens' rendition and even beats the ones he does with HF or Tim. Last night I was watching a full HF live performance (as I often do!) and wondered if you have reacted to their mashup of Timeless/Try Everything. It is so worth looking it up. They only do the two together in their live shows, but oh wow I love how they put them together!! People have recorded just that mashup and put out on KZbin so you don't have to do a full show. I’ve never seen this video version. You must have found it on Peter’s channel. The one most have seen has a very sweet story line with a couple in it. I have a very good request for you. It’s a Lady Gaga cover of “Edge of Glory” by Tim Foust before he joined Home Free with 2 friends. It is different, but I really think you’ll like it.

Yes, I had never seen this version either of 19 You and Me. The one I love is the one with the young couple and then later in the song they are an older couple. It is so touching! With our guys out on the beach and their pure harmonies as always great. It's awesome and I think you'd love the HF video version. Take a look!
