No, they didn't drop him, on the DVD, it shows a message after the Keith Lard episode saying that the episode had no way infringed on the real Keith Lard. It was only because he ran out of Max & Paddy episodes to do, that and the fact that Paddy McGuinness wanted more money supposedly.
