@@blast3613 LOL that was years ago and unfortunately ended with divorce. i can look at the usage of this dark eighties ballad in one of 2 ways - 1) the dark message of using "strange kind of love" for marriage proposal is telling... as if you don't believe in the relationship to begin with.. 2) my future-ex-husband was not a fan of dark eighties, but he knew i was, so he used a song he thought would make me happy, with not much attention to the lyrics. * i prefer explanation no. 2... i should also mention that the song that i chose to take me to the alter was "garden" by Pearl Jam... so can't blame my ex for extra dark anyway... :) [EDIT] my point is, that good music is timeless [EDIT 2] this specific song is not even dark - it's very hopeful. me and my friends used to be inspired by the lyrics - "it's there in the distance, always offered to me..." i also was lucky enough to witness it live. Peter Murphy's vocals are incredible.

Decadas buscando esta cancion y gracias a un amigo, de puta casualidad me prestó un recopilatorio de canciones que nunca ponen en las emisoras de radio (esta es una de ellas). Este recopilatorio lo puedes encontrar en uno llamado Maxi Pop. Hay varios volumenes. Por cierto, están descatalogados. Cuando yo los conseguí, ya lo estaban ( año 2007 ).
