Just scooped myself up a mint 2015 SL5 S-Works Venge. Super excited to get it put together and fitted. Coming from a 2014 SL4 S-Works Roubaix disc Di2. Looking forward to getting on this simple yet fast bike! I think I will keep it for as long as she’ll last me. They seem to be sought after more and more!

I have the 2015 S works venge black on black edition with Dura Ace. In my opinion, that bike is perfect. I haven’t seen an improvement in the last seven or eight years that really improves performance beyond that bike. That’s not to say I haven’t fallen for the new tech but i’ll never get rid of that venge. Love it!

This one blows "modern" bikes out of the water. A bit embarrassing really how good this looks. So colourful, and light! Eternal shame big bike went all in on disc brakes, this looks so much cleaner and faster.

I have the 2017 Specialized Venge Elite Sagan edition. Stiff as all hell, can't imagine what the S works is like. I have mine fitted with Zipp 30 course wheels, and Challenge Paris Roubaix tires. Love it to death

OMG..this is my bike..it's a 2016 Peter Sagan venge, exactly the same..love it, so fast..I have vision 24 wheels, 1300 grams, so light. Also tubular gatorskins..I would give the edge to the venge over my 2020 tarmac sl7, faster in a sprint!

Almost perfectly. You lost nearly all of the braking power when it's raining (carbon rims)

Definitely prefer the look of the newer disc brake bikes. These older digital camo colorways were a bit too loud for my taste. But got to admit rim brake bikes have so much to offer. Lighter than disc mostly and super easy to work on. Gotta love the simplicity.

fixing that fork would be an easy enough, you just need two carbon tubes, one tube same dimension as the fork steerer long enough to give you the added length you want and the other tube is the sleeve that will fit inside to connect the extension to the fork steerer. its a simple matter of bonding them together. you can also make the sleeve really thick or even put an alloy insert inside that way it will be really strong and you wont need a plug inside of it.

I had this same sworks venge in differnt color. Its ride is on the harsh side & probably coz its a sprint bike. As a comparison, sworks sl6 is much more comfortable.

I miss the old specialized where they were about performance and quality for the best price possible. They are now all about their profit margins. I remember seeing this bike on the website with 105 for just $2500. It’s pretty much impossible to find something similar at such a competitive brand nowadays at such a competitive price point.
