Bit late on getting this out, sorry lads. Worth the wait though, as this game was an absolute banger!
Not only do we have two new lads making their JLJ debuts (show some love to Dee and Sam), but it was also a great night out at the National Stadium watching Peter Utaka run the show.
Kofu lost the away fixture 0-2 and knew that they needed to finish tonight with 3 points or potentially be on their way out of their competition, but with Utaka leading the line and chasing down every. single ball, they had absolutely nothing to worry about. Legend.
Let's not forget that this is a J2 team more than holding their own on the international stage and outperforming teams with far higher budgets. It was great to see fans of clubs from all over Japan coming to watch tonight in solidarity with Kofu too. Top lads, fair play to all of you.
Dare we dream for a run to the final..? With a goal machine like Peter Utaka up front, I wouldn't bet against it.

That Kofu Shirt is clean love it. Great video seems like a decent atmosphere at the stadium but where was the game played? Also didn’t even realize this dropped for some reason the thumbnail threw me right off thought it was a highlights package ha lucky I saw your post on Twitter or I’d have missed a banging video.

Yeah great kit and great game! It was at the National Stadium, I think because Kofu’s stadium maybe doesn’t meet the standard for the champions league? And thanks for the feedback on the thumbnail - I’ll change it to something more JLJish!
