Thank you for the video, I will have my next dim sum place to try! Huami 😍! We went huami few weeks back, personal favourite is the abalone siew mai. It’s like siao long bao (inside there’s soup), but siew Mai version. Very pricy but worth trying. I was told the baked crunchy barbrcue bun a must try too. It was sold out that day :(

Peter and Yen - We ate at Huami today! Your recommendation was right on! The food was amazing. The baked bao was unique and incredible. Ha Gao as one of the best - so fresh and tasty. Yeah man definitely dim sum is such a classic Asian brunch. Can't go wrong with some Har gao and some siu mai. Japan unfortunately doesn't have very nice dim sum the flavours in the siu mai are totally different 🤔😁

Oh yeah dim sum!! I remember seeing the curry fish ball from Nick's Hong Kong video! that's something we don't have in Malaysia in dim sum, would love to try that! I literally was going to try Chicken Feet on Friday, I was starring at the menu for 5 mins thinking about it, then I thought no I’ll just order duck and Chicken on rice lol. Lol at Torell said he lost his chop sticks lol. I’m still learning how to use chop sticks I’m almost there, it’s like learning how to swim it’s gonna take me a few months to get it right 😂

Man I love prawn dumplings! Even that sticky rice dish with the the lotus leaves. They’re my go to dishes at Yum Cha. We had a $9.95 Yum Cha place in the Valley. It was sooo good but always sooo packed. So keen to come on one of your food missions when we’re over in NZ!

Hey mate that's a great question. Gluten is an extremely wide used ingredient in dim sum especially for the wrappers. I don't imagine any of the normal dim sum places have gf options but huami might as they cater to wider markets. That would be your best shot might be worth giving them a call as it isn't on their menu.

They don't have the full on dim sum menu for dinner but you can still order a sampler. Definitely the atmosphere of lunch is much more like an authentic dim sum experience 😊👋

Usually dim sum you go with family or friends so you can try more things. Each plate will be about $5 and each person will have around 3.5 plates so total will be about $17.50 per person. 😊✌
