Engine work, transmission, transfer case, suspension, steering, rear end , frame stretch, body, paint , interior, chrome, electrical, wheels tire, aluminum polish,. You sir are one hell of a fine technician. I remember what a POS that Pete was when you first purchased it . You have turned a sows ear into a silk purse. Much respect for you dude. Wish we could have a few beers together and shoot the shit about trucking.

I put a GPS speedo in my 04 Pete, put the antenna on the windshield with double sided 3m tape. Then installed an outlaw drop visor...No more GPS speedo...lol. Visor blocked the signal. Had to end up mounting the antenna out on the cowl in front of the windshield, wire wasn't long enough to go anywhere else.

I like the gps speedometer! I didn’t know they made them. Probably won’t work in tunnels unless it has blue tooth but it should keep relatively accurate odometer readings. Truck looks so nice. I love the chrome heater unit housing. Goes nice with all the other shine.

I've used two those gps speeds on two projects got the odd glitch but for the most part they work great and accurate too,although the instructions on mine wanted the gps unit on the dash or close to the window not to sure why though,tucked in to the dash the way you did it is definitely way cleaner 👍
@wildbillwd3 жыл бұрын
I drove a mack that came with low profile super singles but it had duel 22.5 when I was driving it and it threw off the speedo by 4 mph so I was going faster than what the speedometer was telling me took a little while but I figured it out after scratching my head a couple times that gps speedometer would have came in handy. I wondered quite why you decided to rep[ace all the coolant rubber pipework on the truck - I fully understand about the ones related to the cab heater and that big pipe at the back of the engine but all the others! Did you decide to do this because of the vehicles age and been standing not running for a while and a suspicion of possible leaks/bursts happening and you were looking for peace of mind that was the best way forward? 9 psi seems rather low I would have thought for a big working engine like that when you pressure tested it for leaks - what would be a normal working pressure please?
