Piers and Andy are some of the best coaches out there, in my opinion, and not just on the internet. The way they explain everything so simply just makes it so much easier to not only understand but to adapt it to your own swing. Fantastic video, guys!

@@bg-fl5kr how many would they be able to give their undivided attention to when they're running a 1m subscriber YT channel? that's not their area. Most tour pros would want their coach on speed dial I'd imagine.

Years ago I hit a draw, but for the last couple of years I have had to play wearing a back support, which as reduced my hip rotation. So I loosened up the back brace, to allow a bit more hip rotation and OMG, hitting a tiny draw and 15 yards longer with driver and 1 club longer through the rest of the bag. No swing change, just hips! That's for the video Pete, and a special thanks to the boys at Me and My Golf 😊❤

This video was great. I recently started doing more hip turn in my backswing and saw immediate improvement similar to Pete (although not nearly the distance that Pete can hit 😅). I was concerned about the In to Out swing path numbers I was seeing on the simulator (similar to what Pete was getting), but having Piers and Andy explain it and the fix for if it starts to turn into a hook was exactly what I needed. Also, I agree with Piers, I love watching your swing Pete. Almost as much as George Bryan's swing. 😄

I watched a video yesterday, something along these lines about how to turn better, and it helped so much. I'm around 14 hcap and using the Toptracer at range, the 12 shot challenge had me off +5.4 for approach shots. Driving wasn't so great, but still.... amazing how just rotating better improved my whole iron game, without trying to do anything with my path. I'll definitely give this a try too.

Got to be honest, most of this was French to me. But I agree with the comment that why should get worse after a lesson. Just been working with my pro on hip turn and one thing. It worked and immediately it changed my distance and accuracy. 4 weeks on its drifted a bit like the guys said to Pete. So back to the range tomorrow and use those drills Great work Pete, keep the Open Quest going. 👍

This is very similar to a s&t swing, not so much the swing but the ideas and feels. I like that you're deeper with your hip turn and straightening the right leg more to get that deep hip turn. Definitely something to emulate. Well done Sir.👍. " I think we've solved golf"😂😂😂

Loved this. Increase Hip turn equals more time and better tempo and increase in club head speed. Now when you were getting fitted for the blueprints, how did your old carry distance launch etc compare to the carry distance from the lesson. I know one was indoor and one was outdoor but the club speed and launch angle should be comparable.

I feel like so many times nowadays we get caught up in numbers like path, attack angle, etc. - Correct me if I'm wrong, but I feel like this vid is a great reminder that we'll play our best golf if the ball is going the intended distance at our intended target (7iron, 200yards on a string in this vid), and nobody will care (or notice!) if your path is 10 degrees in to out during a round. Numbers are great indicators but also definitely can take away from our biggest teacher : the landing spot of the golf ball!

I saw a video where Tiger set up with a little open face when hitting draws to make sure it starts right. Is this something you have tested to make sure it doesn't overdraw? Even with a little open face the ball will draw if the path is more in-out than the face.
