I have struggled with closing the club face at impact , and since watching this video this is how I start every range session with my wedge and irons. It has helped immensely try get get a better square club face at impact. Thank you guys for this and keep the content coming , just awesome.

Really enjoyed that. Pete makes great sense and makes it look effortless. The only suggestion I’d make for you guys when doing this kind of video, is to do a slow mo replay of the swing.

@@meandmygolf.I'm currently working on my turn since that's one of the things I've seen you talk about and it's really helping cure my tendency to sometimes hit it from the outside coming in. It still feels a bit weird but it's repeatable and I'm guessing I'm going to get used to it after I've practiced it more.

Interesting to hear this. I am doing similar. Trying to fix a slice which I think I have figured out is down to an in to out swing path caused by being too steep in the takeaway. Really trying to feel taking the club away on the path I want to swing down on.

I never thought about lead shoulder over trail leg for a top of the backswing check, that's brilliant! If you happen to see this comment, I'd ask, what's the feeling in the hands you're looking for in the takeaway and the top of the backswing? Like are you feeling tension in trail hand metacarpals, or lead hand metacarpals, regular forearm carpals, a specific part of your palm or grip side of your fingers, wrists, etc.? Especially for the wrist hinge, having an idea of the feeling you're looking for to achieve confidence in the swing, if that's a thing for you, would be really cool to know!

Every time I put my driver ball way forward in my stance I can’t hit it for nothing but with it just so slightly above center I can hit it great . Why would that be ?
@Lje710 ай бұрын
With the ball further forward you’ll naturally have to cut across it more to hit it, so if your swing is in to out you’ll likely struggle to hit a ball that’s way far forward
@meandmygolf.10 ай бұрын
It all depends on your set up and back swing and maybe where you are aligning the shoulders too when the ball is forward. You Need to make are they stay square.
@AdamHail-d6f10 ай бұрын
every time i try to up my swing speed my form goes out the window, any tips?
@meandmygolf.10 ай бұрын
the clue there is to potentially not do it. As soon as it starts to lose efficiency then that is a sign to not go past that. Sometimes you can hit the ball less distance swinging faster as you miss the middle more.
