Wow, I thought you would beat me for sure but I took the free finesse on #6 and that was the difference. Why not, since it can never hurt?

It definitely can hurt if there is doubleton jack of diamonds. To me it look like they were giving a greek gift. I was never able to finesse the diamond so they are giving me an option they think will fail. They had easy club of spade switches

On board 6, I played 10 when East returned a low diamonds, which gave me an extra trick coz diamond is 3-3. I then shifted to clubs and West played the hearts for me. 😆 lucky me!

Does the score you get depend on what everyone else does - I guess it does, so does that mean you should wait several days before playing, so that you're playing against more people. I just noticed that on board 8, robots making 2S plus one scored 64% but when I played it 3 days ago, it scored 60.7%.

No, you are participating in a tournament that already happened. You're just the 16th player in the section. This week the field was particularly weak.
