Just a friendly little tip when dealing with a customers, there is no need to keep on telling the customer what a big mistake they made. Instead of dumping on the customer for 5 minutes straight because he got ripped off spin it into a positive and move on. Tell him that you'll do anything in your power to get that watch sold and get him into something better. The customer already feels bad that he got ripped off. Constant negativity about something that happened in the past might make the customer hesitant about buying another watch. When it comes to sales, "less is more," is a great mantra to stick by. Listen and offer a solution. Best of luck Peter. You seem like a good dude, which is not the norm in the Grey Market.

I had a dealer "collector" in NY and Long island (many locations) try to sell me a Daytona super clone for 25K. Luckily they took it back. I think that they knew it was fake. My hunch is that there are thousands of people with super clones that don't know it yet. The dead giveaway was a scratched up back case and missing link. Also fake card with a purchase date in the prior month.

Respectfully, unless you were a highly experienced watch buyer, which most consumers overwhelmingly are not, I simply cannot understand why anyone would ever entertain buying a luxury watch from a KZbinr. All these pieces are very common and can be sourced from the most reputable preowned watch companies that will always stand by what they sell with zero risk. But hey, people are very gullible and highly impressionable , I suppose (i.e. TPG’s exploits, Stefano Delacosta, etc). No offense to you Peter, as you seem like a person that is both very honest and legitimate, but you might be one of the few exceptions.

here's the issue id say confidently about 80-85% of these huge name privately backed companies don't care about condition their name allows them to sell whatever junk they want its insane. there's very few people that actually know what a watch is supposed to look like, otherwise they see shiny and say wow its almost new! that's where the mass public fails by getting blinded and screwed over.
