If you're not achieving everything you want in your life, your relationships, your business, or your wealth, chances are...
You're locked into a pattern of acceptance...
Remember, as human beings, we are programmed to be desensitized to our environment. A classic example is if you live near an airport, for the first two weeks you're pulling your hair out because the planes are flying over every day. After two to three weeks, you never hear them until somebody comes to visit and says, "How can you live with all that noise?" And you're like, "What noise? I didn't hear it."
We're trained to be desensitized. It's the same with anything including personal growth. If you're the kind of person who buys personal development books, goes to the seminars, and joins the courses but never really gets anywhere with them, chances are, you're desensitized as to the real reasons to be doing what you're doing.

amazing vid! my main 3 takeaways: - environment trumps will (warm coat in a freezer) - the level of love you will receive from others can never exceed the level of love you have for yourself (identity level work) - habits form as way of the neocortex conserving energy (it will assume a repeated task is done so 'intelligently', so therefore it will be reduced to the subconscious to require less energy). This is why we are all creatures of habit And 3 Tips for making these programs work for you: 1) stop putting sh*t in - avoid MSM - positive peer group 2) put good stuff in - information - examples: books, interviews, podcasts etc 3) get a coach - don't fix just the skill, but work on the deeper reason why (eg not time management, but fear)

To beat procrastination and achieve ultimate self-mastery, start by identifying your goals and breaking them down into manageable steps. Prioritize your tasks, focus on one thing at a time, and eliminate distractions. Practice self-discipline, and hold yourself accountable. Cultivate a growth mindset, and learn from your failures. Remember that self-mastery is a journey, and it requires dedication and perseverance. Keep pushing forward, and trust that you have the power to achieve your goals.

Why envision. Wouldn't Peter say it is our choice . If it is our passion and we align our passion with our actions we will attain it. Just check the environment you surround yourself with. Set the goal and be sure your intentions move you toward that outcome we must stay accountable and master the habits that serve our end goal. Awareness, self evaluate, reflect ,and adjust. 'then act and repeat. You can do it. Stay positive and watch who you hang with and what you feed your brain. Good Luck

What if the person that is bringing me down is myself and im living with myself everyday with the guilt that im just lesser…im just lesser than everyone else,less smarter, less athletic,no talent, can’t find my own interests cause I do mostly everything to please people so I don’t know who I even am or what I like, I found worth within my grades but ever since I started procrastinating my grades are even going downhill which effects my self-esteem greatly. It makes me want to give up cause why try? The one interest that I had=education I can’t even get myself to like anymore because all I want to do is be lazy, but there is always a part of me that knows im better, smarter and more talented than this. It’s people prospective of me and most of all my perspective that is destroying me. The only reason I let peoples perspective of me shape me is cause I’ve been doing this ever since a child but it’s only now that I am at my worst and so distant from being okay! But what I learned from this is that the only person that can destroy me is me! I guess it’s all about perspective after all! I need to start believing in myself again and ik it won’t be overnight but I have hope cause of this speech! Thank you❤

Interesting talk but where was the content to stop procrastinating? 🤔
@TheRealPeterSage
@TheRealPeterSage 3 жыл бұрын
The reason people procrastinate is deeply rooted in the way they're hardwired. Since we live our lives most of the time on autopilot, there're many unconscious fears that govern our behaviour and keep us in our comfortzone. This is why people procrastinate so much and also the reason why people self-sabotage when they try to stretch it or come out of it.
@exchangeofwisdom8475
@exchangeofwisdom8475 2 жыл бұрын
@Peter Fallon you missed it. xd I think it's written in big letters on the background screen. For me, just being aware that my unconscious mind is keeping me in my comfort zone(trying to protect me), and that I have to actually decide to do something new (for the better), already reduces the chances of me procrastinating.
@melissabiehl7380
@melissabiehl7380 2 жыл бұрын
You stop procrastinating When you stop focusing in thinking that life’s goal is settlement . Life’s goal is growth . The whole universe is growing, adjusting …if you let this natural rule rule your life settlement and comfort zone looks actually pretty anti natural …it means somehow we might be missing some point or self sabotaging … if we see comfort attachment as a clue for soul searching and tuning in with promoting fulfillment instead of achievement that it is easier to just say: okay let’s just give it a go and see how my reality shifts when I do it and how I feel aligned with it … Go slowly , feel it , honoring it and knowing this is the natural course of things… and knowing that actually doing it mindfully and willingly is actually going forward in the most supported way … Universe does not settle always adjusting , we are in this universe make part of it … which means it is in us too… wanting to stop it is kinda crazy 😉

Well, Peter, one thing arises in my mind while listening to the law of conformity. Do people never stand a chance unless they change their environment? Well, what if you are in Africa, surrounded by poverty? Does it really mean that you can never become rich, just because you will not have many options or means to change that poor environment?
@celenalinares7755
@celenalinares7755 2 жыл бұрын
At about 1:00 he talks about lack of resources. They all found ways to change their environment, there is always a way and it starts in the self. 95% means that there is only a 5% chance people find and follow through with the change if it’s hard or not. If you are born in Africa into poverty it’s not 100% that you won’t get out.

And one more question, why did you end the session with 'God bless'? In all your interviews I haven't heard that you believe in god? Because most of the time you work with science and facts and that does not entail religion, which opposes those. I've heard you speak about the Universe, the higher intelligence, but that doesn't involve dogmas, etc. Or perhaps that was just a greeting to end the session, which will make mare sense.

It's become more generic over time. It just means that you wish people well.

I can’t believe how many fallacies this guy is spewing. This is a classic nature vs nurture argument and it’s all known and documented that there is no clear winner. How many athletes, scientists, famous musicians, successful people have you seen who have had a horrible upbringing? Many. The human Will and personality in some people is unbreakable. I hate country music, and regardless of a friend driving me to work for a week playing country music in the car I will never tap my feet to country. But again, everyone is different.

Of course I'd never smoke crack even if in the same scenario, but I believe exposure is the key to starting new habits and leaving old ones.

I don't like country music either, but there is truth to exposure bc as humans we find a way to adapt.

@@flowerhour9539 one might learn to accept and tolerate from exposure for sure. but "liking, enjoying or loving" something because you have been exposed to it over and over is not typical. of course anything can happen.

@@anyariv Better :) "hate" is such a loaded word. If we use it with more caution we'd have a happier life
