Being a black guy from the West Coast I feel that I’ve been lied to as far as the Confederate flag is concerned I feel that Florida has some of the coolest people in the Central and Northern parts ppl would love to see us divided I love the fact that my man goes out there with his family and is treated with love and respect! Hats off to all them folks out there God Bless and God Speed to all! 💯👊🏾👊🏾✌🏾

The whole Nation has been lied to brother. The tearing down of historical statues etc,has nothing to do with racism- it is 100% to erase our history & make a big lie in order to divide & conquer the American people. Even the civil war was not fought over slaves,it was over $$ & big business. The 1st black politicians were Republicans from the south thats why the kkk was formed by democrats to kill both black & the white politicians who supported them.

Born and raised in South Florida...the motto has always a been the More the Merrier. Come one Come all. We learned from the past and now Florida is the melting pot of America. It' works because we work to make it that way. Choose your leaders with your heart the wrong leader can be a disaster.... just look around what more proof do you need?

Please note that you don’t see trash everywhere. I grew up on sandbars at a local river in Georgia. My dad was a hardworking, hard drinking man but he was respectful of everyone. He made us understand the beauty of nature. We left an area like we found it. No vandalism or trashing the beauty.

I live by satilla river in southern Georgia and unfortunately I can't say this matches my experience. Southern Georgia is absolutely littered with trash but then again maybe times have changed and the older generations didn't disrespect nature like now, because there is an obscene amount of litter along all the nature around I live here in rural south Georgia, it's a shame

I looked it up just to be sure and it's origin was as follows (thought it was interesting): It goes back to the early days of auto racing, when water-cooled engines were just getting traction. It was discovered that the engines that managed to not overheat their heads usually won the races. Hence "cooler heads prevail"

People that are born and raised in Florida can barely read at an 8th grade level, you piss off the wrong person you aren't fighting them you are getting killed, where ever you find a rich neighborhood there is a ghetto slum right next to it that has high murder rates, everyone looks to the Polk County sheriff as a great hardliner sheriff well he has to be because of so much crime that comes along with living in Florida. The beaches and sand and tourist sections are great, the true under belly of Florida which is 10 min away from the coast line are filled with drugs, rape and murder. Def not a state to take at face value. 7 years ago some guy walked across the street and ate his 2 elderly neighbors faces off that's all you need to know about the state. Go for Vaca don't go to stay

There are springs all over Florida. Pretty much any mostly permanent body of water comes up from the aquifer. It's a huge aquifer that not only covers all of Florida except the Keys, but it stretches into most of Georgia, into Alabama to the west and along the SE coast up into the Carolinas.

Canadian here. I was raised in a country that prides itself on "not being American". The last 4 years has really opened my eyes and I've never wanted to be American so badly in my life. Keep doing what you're doing. My neighbors to the south, you have the greatest system ever in human history. While it's not flawless, freedom is the greatest Virtue to any society. Canada is a great country too but we've valued collectivism over individual freedom these past few years and it's heading into a scary uncertainty that history warns of bad times ahead. I look forward to my visits in your wonderful country .

I'm genX & was raised in old Florida... w/o all these loud vehicles, just boats. My father & ancestors grew up on & lived off of the St John's. Our family turned town cemetery has headstones from pre civil war. It used to be a sanctuary to take my kids, clean up, & picnic once a year. Now, the nearby school intercom blasts through the tranquility. My dream/goal is to find enough land to provide a quality way of living for my grands & descendants after I'm gone. And convince them that it's worth protecting & sacrificing for. ❤️
