First of all, never apologize for spending time with the history of your location. These lessons are a big part of why your posts are among the best on KZbin. As for your pipe, we will miss seeing you puff on it in the future. Speaking about Peterson tobacco, I for one have never associated the brand with "high end" or "exclusive" blends. Good every day tobacco for sure but as you said, nothing to write home about. So, stay well my friend and I hope you enjoy your new pipe for many years to come

I hate thieves, they never realize what part of your life they have stolen, but they also don't care. Thanks for the history of your country which I always enjoy. The architecture of the buildings even the barns always amaze me in your beautiful country. Be well and until next time, Tommy

I always enjoy your historical insights as part of your presentation, so, please keep them as part of your presentations. I'm sorry to hear of having your pipe stolen; pipes are among some of my most personal possessions. If my house was on fire I'd be running to my pipe rack before getting my passport! As always, it is a pleasure to share some time with you.---Todd

Thanks for taking the time, my friend! As you know...it's really so much appreciated by heart! Was just thinking about you the other day, when I did an interview on Cass Cassidy's pipe channel...and we were talking about Kramer's and father Dempsey...still got a rest in the jar... :-) Take care! Be well! Mark

It's always a pleasure and I see a new video from you, Mark. Condolences on your stolen pipe - I know how special it was to you. Thanks for sharing your humorous take on these two blends. It's really a shame how hard it is to know which company is actually doing the blending. Best wishes from Michigan.

I use to smoke a lot of Irish Oak which they renamed Irish Cask a few years ago. I have a few jars in my cellar so haven’t tried the renamed version. Oak sounds very familiar to these blends. Claim it too was stored in oak sherry barrels. The oak has aged very well and is an almost dessert sweet Vaper with a nice taste of the sherry that complements the tobacco. Love the vids! Thanks Mark!

A 900 year old church makes me stop and consider how young my homeland is. The experiment in limited government which epitomized the unique political and philosophical theses of the founding fathers in the U.S. is relative to some countries histories extremely young and to this day many here question whether it will survive much longer. As usual Mark, thanks for putting things in perspective, seeing you stand in front of that 900 year old church makes one reevaluate one's place in the larger scheme of things. Keep puffin.

Hola Mark, first, I am so sorry about your pipe. In this time we have many people around us which need apparently all. Second, I think this tobaccos are a little bit pricy and then the difference between the description on the tin and in the book - crazy for a big company like the Scandinavian Group. Such a thing shouldn't happen. Thanks so much too for the impressions from Verden, especially from the Church. Best wisches from the island. Michael!

Hello Mark, Too bad for your old pipe... hope you'll have lots of pleasure with this new one. It is sad to see that such a company makes so bad advertising and cannot truely say what's in the tobacco they are selling. You are saying that at 15,90 euros (which is about 23$ canadian), it is premium tobacco... how was wondering what is the price range of lets say cheap tobacco to high end price tobaco in Germany. At 23$ canadian, I don't think I could find any tobacco. A cheap one would cost me at least 30$. Well, hope all is well for you my friend, and as you said, winter is coming!! Take care and Be well! Do you know the treaty of Verdun of the year 840?? It stipulated that the French, the Germans and the Italians would form a single people, a single land. England and Spain were to join this treaty and later all of continental Europe from Lisbon to Vladivostok was to be a single land. Imagine the power we would have had, the knowledge, the natural resources. Today Verdun is no longer synonymous with union between Europeans, but sound like butchery.
