Good Grief! I just watched Phoebe bail the dinghy in a rainstorm, while she was cold and the boats were moving! That was brave and very dangerous but she just did without hesitation. Solid gold crewmember. Absolutely well done, Sweetpea 💝

Hey mate Josh here! Phoebe loves getting amongst it! It was certainly gnarly, I was worried but she was so soli and got the job done flawlessly. Super reliable woman that one! Cheers mate

Enjoyable episode.Sailing is an addictive life choice.....and only natural if your into nature,forces and the power of water.There will be tough times that will be testing,but,it's down to your character to get you out of it.Also,seen a video with you two,plotting charts or something? It's easy,just study your charts and work out all the spots you can hunker into at your chosen average speed over ground.The more you have...the more choices.If your going faster than expected...you can cover that extra bit of ground.....just in time to lower the pick and have dinner with a drink! See you next time,thanks for the episode.ado n spud.

You kids are far too modest. You keep making vlogs as good as this and before you know it you'll be in the 100K subs club and you'll have to wear your sunnies in every port to stop being pestered by everybody. I reckon you're already world famous. I tell all my mates they have to subscribe. Keep it up kiddies and look after Sonya.

Lucky episode 13 👍Hope you keep getting recognised you deserve it, great video. There's a bigger Whitworths at Woolongabba if you'd anchored up river near south bank it's a much shorter ride, but it looks like you had fun going to Newstead, so all good.

Nice editing Phoebe, & you looked lovely in your night out dress. Also love how you pay respect to traditional custodians. Imagine the clicks if u took one for the team, went wo/man overboard when bailing the tender. As suggested in an earlier vid, put a pump in the tender, b4 the outboard goes deep diving.
@Thenewkidsonthedock Жыл бұрын
Hi Lana, thanks for the love and feedback! What sort of pump do you suggest would suit the tender? Cheers

Yes I thought the same thing. Would have been so easy to end up slipping etc and ending up in the water. They weren’t out in open water, but, still a risky thing to do…

Unfortunately, my knowledge of Australia’s geography is embarrassing at best. I can probably pick Sydney out on a map, and I learned to bet on the emus versus the army. Illustrating maps on where your going and why is helpful for us non-natives.

Copy that! Maps coming up, just have to find our preferred way to show it. Cheers

Real talk time. I would like to see you guys a little more forward thinking with safety. Entering the Brissy River, under sale, strong wind, moderate to heavy rain and poor visibility. Phoebe needed a life jacket on. If she was wearing one, it needed to be outside her rain jacket. Mother nature is beautiful, but it is unforgiving if you give it the chance. When you guys get out the sea and are sailing, put the life jackets on. taking shifts on an overnight passage, LIFE JACKET. Wearing one wont make your adventures any less fun. End real talk. You're gonna have the sickest time up the reef and im super jealous of your adventures to come, but i cant wait to live vicariously through you. Laters!
@StephenFogarty2023 Жыл бұрын
Agree 💯 Safety is a # 1 priority. They weren’t out in the open water, but I still totally agree that they should b wearing life jackets in those conditions…
@Thenewkidsonthedock Жыл бұрын
Hey Andy thanks for thinking of this and calling us out on it! Sometimes you need those little reminders. We do take safety seriously and appreciate you keeping us accountable. It’s usually front of mind but since being in Moreton Bay we certainly have became more relaxed on it. Stoked to have you along for the ride. Cheers, Josh
