That brings back a lot of memories when I was a boy in the seventies mom and dad would take a Coleman stove and fry hamburgers in the. City Parks we were driven by on vacation and we sat there. An eat are lunch and then remind me to worship to the Pan and we would be on our way.

It's amazing to think that, depending on where the petrified wood has been found, age can range from 20 million years to 300 million years old. Specimens from Arizona are approximately 280 million years old and those from Washington and Oregon are 38 million years old. It's also fascinating they the petrified wood breaks into pieces that look like they have be cut with a chainsaw.

Excellent video, thanx for taking us along. The music had that mystical timeless feel which was perfect for this video. The Studebaker reminded me of one of my favorite cars, the Grand Tourismo Golden Hawk by Studebaker. The last time I was there was in 1956 and I still have those images in my memory. We got there in a 1941 Chevy, a lot of memories.😃

That was very cool. So i did a quick study on petrified wood 😉. Apparently, green is the most rare of this type of wood fossil and is also magnetic, with some having gold or silver in it. The oldest piece of petrified wood found in my area is a whopping 70 million years old according to Google. Thanks for sharing Adam & Abby. ps: that little BBQ grill is really coming to be handy Adam eh!, nice 👍. Blessings 🙏.

Been there 2 times. The first time in 1998 and the second time in 2005, and it was a great experience both times, which I would like to experience again, but since I live in Denmark the chances of getting there again are quite small, especially in light of the fact that in the meantime I has retired and money is tight now.

You're gonna need a much bigger Passport book. I've already begun inserting extra pages into mine. We travel by motorcycle and tent camp in national parks. First stop is almost always the Passport kiosk. (I've been watching you, Adam, since your first KZbin videos at your place of employment. )

Many of the tree cuts appear to be sawed and I know that's probably not the case. Did you get any info regarding the "cuts" from your brochures or rangers?? Thanks.
