Fatemarked by David Estes is amazing, one of my favorite series ever! Kingfall is just as good. Such great news for Ryan Cahill! The Bound & the Broken is such a great series!

Time for me to sigh at all those gorgeous books! That is indeed tremendous news about The Broken Binding becoming a publisher, and Ryan Cahill's The Bound and the Broken is the perfect choice for their first project. Interesting to hear about the One Piece delay. As I'm a manga reader and not an anime watcher, it doesn't really affect me, but I hope to catch up with the manga by early next year. I look forward to chatting with you about One Piece relatively soon, Petrik!

That Anji kills a king cover is so unique! 🤯

Thank you for the news! Good luck to TBB in becoming a traditional publishing house. I do hope to see some more diversity in their future picks. I am currently reading "Blood of the Old Kings" and it is such a great time. "Witch King" was my first work by Martha Wells and it was so intriguing, but I love a challenging read once in a while so I do understand why it might not have worked out for other readers.

I really hope I can get the Bound and the Broken series in 2025. It's my favorite modern epic fantasy series. Cahill really has put in a lot of work to get this series to where it is and I'm happy for him. I will read everything this guy writes.
@PetrikLeo45 минут бұрын
It should be possible come September 2025. I've seen the cover art, and I can safely say it looks better than the indie edition cover art! :)

@@PetrikLeo Ah that's great to hear! Yeah if I can get more info from a different edition be it with updates or new art, I'm always down for that. I cherish the series so much that all of my hardcover copies are signed, but I was too late to the party to get any special editions.

For Martha Wells, I always recommend The Cloud Roads and Death of the Necromancer. I like the books after The Cloud Roads in the Books of the Raksura series even more than the first one.

I like the cover for Grave Empire. But I am disappointed that it’s very different from The Empire of the Wolf.
@PetrikLeoСағат бұрын
@@MsLaurenElizabeth22 yeah! I can understand that. Martina Fackova's illustrations were amazing. I think it's to avoid having people think they have to read the previous three before reading this one.

Really enjoyed the first two books then wasn’t so hot on Trials of Empire but I’ve been looking for more flintlock fantasy since finishing all the powder mage books. ALSO Anji Kills a King sounds like it’s similar to a bunch of books I really enjoy so I’ll def be checking that out! Thanks for putting on my radar.

Hi Petrik, now that Broken Binding is a traditional publisher will we be able to get their books in Barnes and Noble or only online? 7:26
@PetrikLeo2 сағат бұрын
I think so, too! At least that's what I'm assuming from the news. It should be available at bookstores like Barnes & Noble and Waterstones.

Akhtar is launching Kickstarter for book 2 before he even shipped Gunmetal Gods. Gotta say I'm not a fan of this approach.
@PetrikLeo3 сағат бұрын
That's something I can agree with. It's something I have mentioned to Merrick Books as well. They need to ship their first book first before doing the Kickstarter of the sequel.
