Not only the OST has music tracks not featured in the actual Petscop series, but in this video we can see some new areas of the game that Paul has not been in during the series. Like how the "DEMO"/"Odd-Even Care" BGM here is called "Level 2" in the OST and is accompanied by the footage of a purple indoors area not seen in the Petscop series. It is small details of that makes Petscop seem like a real PS1 game and what we've seen was just one Playthrough of it.

Ah, I think I finally understand why Marvin called him "Pall", not "Paul"... Tiara/Belle here does the same thing. In Petscop 23, as Paul is typing something and suddenly stops in the middle of a word (presumably because Marvin got into his room and attacked him/did something to him that caused him to stop playing), after a while the game displayed the sentence "not in table". At first I assumed "not in table" was what he input by accident since he was interrupted mid typing... but no character has ever uttered full sentences before, it was all typed word by word. So I'm assuming "not in table" means there's a specific table with pre-established words that the game allows the player to input. Trying to input anything not present in the table returns the error message "not in table". That's why both Belle and Marvin refer to Paul as "Pall", because there are no people's names recorded in the table, as it would make the table much bigger than it probably already is. So they have to make do with the word they can find that is the closest to their names. And that's also why Marvin called Belle by the word "Bell".

I didn’t think this would actually end so soon, but this is a nice gift to end things on. This was the end of an era. Definitely one of the best webseries I’ve seen. It was really fun trying to figure out the meaning of everything this story threw at us even though I didn’t understand much of it myself. I think that’s why it’s so good. Just the mystery aspect itself and the feel of the game in general, it’s unlike anything I’ve seen before... I hope more series like this follow

Its OST is kind of genius. There's a remarkable 'unfinished' quality with so many of the songs. Think about Birthday, and how it loops, or the counselor's room, which is just the same disturbing sound effect repeated in different pitches. It reminds me of how Petscop is an unfinished game, yet is a "growing organism". The proper game doesn't have a set 'ending', but there are still so many secrets we don't know about it. Maybe that's why it's really unfinished: because it's unfinishable? The music reflects this, in the OST there's one song we never hear. It seems like secrets just can't escape this game, can it?

Lina not being dead is the only solution I see that makes sense to me.

They’ve got vaporwave, lowercase, alternative, pop, essentially whatever genre you’re looking for, so you’re bound to find something similar to that track. it could be that Lina and Anna may be twin sisters (Anna being the sister of Lina that Marvin supposedly married and had Care with), and they did kill one of them that day on the windmill (probably after running her over), but the one that was killed was not Lina, it was Anna, and Lina lived on pretending to be her sister.

From the way I interpreted the story of this ARG, Paul is Care after being rebirthed in the same way that Belle is Tiara after the same. Marvin abused kids including his own child trying to get back the girl he lost at the windmill, he used the machine in the schools basement to try and "rebirth them" into his one true love. After being rebirthed by Marvin it seems that the trauma inflicted onto the subjects before and after the process causes them to lose their memories of who they were before, and become whatever Marvin turns them into. The game seems to intrinsically trap people within and was made by Rainer. The game originally seemed to have the dual purpose of trapping marvin and finding care, but after Rainer lost Michael and Care was found it evolved to help Belle and Paul remember their pest trauma and move beyond it. This whole time Paul has been talking to Belle over the phone (hence why belle is called "smart" in the credits and paul compliments her puzzle skills, as well as the recordings involving her showing really fast puzzle solving skills AND the fact that Paul refers to her in the same way that Rainer did EG: 'not part of the family'.) Paul invited her over to play the game as we heard in the beginning and we even got a few moments of her playing throughout the series (such as when Rainer via the ingame text congratulates her on discovering who she is.) And we can see that Belle recovered from everything much faster than Paul did and began helping him along the way in her own manner by telling him her locker combination among other instances throughout the series. We know from the youtube channel descriptions and Paul himself that his family kept pushing him to play the game even though he didn't want to. Belle also hints at the end that Pauls mother is the person behind him playing the game which I'm still sitting on but would fit into this as the reason I imagine she kept pushing Paul to play would be so that he would move past his trauma like Belle did. Its heavily implied that Paul is Care throughout the series. Just like when Belle plays and the game refers to her as Tiara, Paul also goes through multiple of Cares memories and is referred to as if he were her. He even comments in one of the episodes that "there is a resemblence" between him and Care. Paul also seems deeply disturbed by items from Cares past despite many of them being completely benign to us once we finally see them during the casket scene. They also share the same birthday and Paul shares Cares penchant for swear words, as we see both of them swear often and it is even commented on by the counselor. Throughout the game, Marvin has been preparing Paul to finish what Marvin started back when he was Care. Marvin teaches Paul the song to play, shows him the house and how to "collect" Care A, as well as shows him the school and makes Paul bring him the parts to repair his machine. However Paul plays the song wrong which essentially repeats the steps that brought him to the present day. This can be extrapolated from Marvin commenting that "Tiara plays bad" when Paul screws up the song the first time, meaning that Tiara's rebirth failed in the same manner. The Egg that Paul gets is representative of his past memories and trauma, which he locks away with Belle's egg in the same locker, symbolizing him forgetting the past and being reborn. We know from Rainer's in game text that Belle had to be "prepared" in a way before she could accept her past as Tiara. Its likely that Paul is the same which makes this ending so much more poetic. Paul has "defeated" Marvin in a sense and is excited to find out the truth behind the past. He's not quite ready to accept what happened to him but Belle implores him to remember and tells him that "we will investigate it together" which are the same words that he spoke to her over the phonecall. As was put by Rainer to Paul in one of the earliest episodes of petscop: "Only you can turn Care NLM into Care A and close the loop." --- Just the way I (roughly) interpreted it. No idea if it's the true story or not! I personally like this story a lot because I relate to it, but I love hearing other peoples interpretations as well

I think it has more of a conclusion than you might think Things are vague, but I do think it’s a happy ending. The last shot we see is an empty desk, an open room, and a green field with a blue sky-the most natural “Freedom” imagery possible. Whatever happened, Paul has escaped whatever he was “trapped” in.
