In spite of the wear it runs very nicely! Thanks for letting us watch, Joseph! Have a pleasant Sunday.

Thanks Bruce, I have a green one that was donated to me from a youtuber. I should show it next.

The brilliance of the internal combustion engine! That little engine runs really well considering the state the crank and/or main bearings are in, sounded as smooth as anything when you covered the inlet.

its impressive. Yep reducing the air will reduce the knocking bang. Thanks for watching

Looks like a low compression engine ( 14 -16:1 compression ratio ) with such a smooth start and running with a steady rhythm. Congratulations.

Its low aswell as It might be a bit worn too. Thanks for your comment :)

Wow it runs superb and no smoke. at 4:48 you got it to run extremely slow wow! , such ashame about that play, is it repairable perhaps the main bearings just need replacing on it and it might live to run another day, seems to be worth fixing

yes it think it is salvageable. Depends how bad is the crank tough. Thanks for stopping by and share your thoughts about it. Cheers

Very interesting, most engines wear out the top end first but this engine seems to have a good top end. Do they have tapered bearings as mains, it may just need some shims removed to load the bearing and make it tight again.
@enginelover110 ай бұрын
They have plain bearing. I don't think they are white metal but aluminium bearings I believe. Not quite sure on that as never checked one out. not going to scratched a good one :)

Wow. I am surprised it has't thrown a rod or something!

Yes me to. Did you watch how well and smooth it run when blocking the inlet?
