This is the first Diesel I have had so I am learning myself. I've not played around with this engine much. When I found it to be a runner, I stripped it down ready for renovation. It's still not finished and has only been started once on the day the video was posted. A good way to start Diesels instead of using easystart is to put a hot air gun (the type used to strip paint) in the air intake and slowly crank. This heats everything up slightly and makes starting eaiser. Thanks

Where would I obtain spare parts for my Petter should I need any ? Any advice would be very helpful. Thanks

What is the best way to get these engines warmed up? The one I have is missing the springs on the rod on the fuel pump just above where you start it so I have to squirt easy start into the air intake and hold in the rod in the fuel pump until it is safe to set the right mixture.

hows the PAZ1 (shown here) going now? is it close to being finished or half way through the process?

NOOOO, not flebay! You will find people selling over priced crap, buy from within the hobby, from other entusiasts, put an advert in the back of Stationary engine magazine. It will cost you less and you will get better results.
