At around 22 minutes, Kate said, "Any sign of Joe and Charlie yet?" I didn't notice that before. First time Kate EVER called Joe, Joe!

Pat Woodell was a nice singer Sadly, I just read that she passed away in 2015 from cancer at age 71. She had battled it for over 20 years.

Kate said that she was worried & the girls all said Joe's plan sounded good. Kate then said it sounded too good & that's what worried her. I can't blame her because Uncle Joe, rather a good or bad idea, will always do something to screw up. In this case not getting the papers certified by the county to become a JP & legally marry the couple. It's also obvious that Floyd hasn't been to weddings before. Floyd claps after Bobbie Jo sang which one doesn't do at a solemn occasion & then when Uncle Joe told the couple to join hands, Floyd grabs Charlie's hand & Charlie had to tell him to stop for they were only witnesses.

Juliaflo, that was long before. He and his wife met at dental school, and she remained a dentist, but he had been acting for 30 years by this point in time.

Tommy Ivo was awfully cute. After he left show business at the end of the 60’s he became a famous drag race driver. If you look him up online you’ll find more pictures related to his drag racing career than his roughly 20 year film career.

That Shady Rest Hotel building is all indoors on a stage - that's why you never see above the sign on the front. It would be all stage lighting. The tracks and water tower are quite real though.

On TV only. See `Trends in Premarital Sex in the United States, 1954-2003` Quote `Among those born in the 1940s and turning 15 from 1954 to 1963, 82% had had premarital sex by exact age 30` Source: U.S. National Institutes of Health (ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC1802108/). ``The results of the analysis indicate that premarital sex is highly normative behavior. Almost all individuals of both sexes have intercourse before marrying, and the proportion has been roughly similar for the past 40 years. The slight decrease between the 1984-93 and 1994-2003 cohorts was not statistically significant.``

Nitta Arul, absolutely untrue. I don’t know why people always idealize and romanticize the past. Need I remind you this was television, not reality.

Now days a couple would probably laugh about it, and find a judge or preacher who could legally marry them.Joe should have told Charlie at the train that he didn't have his papers registered yet, and the couple would have to wait. Even when I graduated in 1979, young unwed couples rarely lived together...they preferred to marry. Remember also, as much of a womanizer John Ritter was on Three's Company, he was very uncomfortable about living with that airline stewardess girlfriend and not marrying? It was the final episode of that show, and it ended sometime around 1982.

I wonder why the characters HERBIE Bates(Don Washbrook) and JUNIOR HOCKER (Russell Horton) Were seen on Petticoat Junction on SEASON ONE ONLY Junior Hocker and Herbie Bates were good And funny characters on PJ and Herbie Bates and Junior HOCKER should have Stayed on PJ do several years instead of dissapearing from the show with explanation at all. Billie Jo(Jeannine Riley) Dated both Junior and Herbie on different episodes.Herbie Bates and Junior HOCKER both competed with each other For Billie Jo's affection. Billie Jo kissed Herbie Bates On one episode and Herbie Was so shook up that he accidentally knocked down Cans in Sam Stickers Store On Green Acres Eb had a Crush on Betty Jo (Linda Henning) and Eb also accidentally knocked down The cans in Sam Stickers Store . HERBIE Bates had a Big crush on Billie Jo Bradley In one episode of Petticoat Junction Herbie Bates almost joined the army (Herbie Gets Drafted). Anyway I would like to remember HERBIE BATES DON WASHBROOK and JUNIOR HOCKER Russell Horton two HOOTERVILLE Residents seen on Petticoat Junction for season one only before Junior and Herbie dissapeared into Thin air .Newt Kiley (Kay Kuter) appeared on both Green Acres and Petticoat Junction before Newt Kiley Dissapeared from Green Acres at the end of season 5. The HOOTERVILLE residents talked about Newt Kiley on season six even though Newt Kiley was no longer seen on Green Acres And Petticoat Junction . Also it's too bad the dog on Petticoat Junction never did Have a name . The last APPEARANCE of Junior Hocker was in the Episode My Daughter The Doctor and the last time viewers Saw Junior Hocker he was Dancing the HOOTERVILLE HOP at the SHADY REST with Betty Jo Bobbi Jo Billie Jo Charlie and Floyd. I believe that Herbie GETS Drafted was the last APPEARANCE of HERBIE Bates. By the way Herbie GETS turned down by the Army because he had an Injury playing sports in High school.
