DKSON1337 I've seen few swaps like that before, it even has been featured on one of the episodes of Top Gear quite a while ago... So, to answer your question, yes, 406 V6 lump will fit under the bonnet of 306

Adrian Maduta cumparasem anterior un 316 coupe cu 2000 ron , dar nu era inmatriculat si nici nu se mai puteau scoate numere rosii. caroseria si sasiu erau in stare f buna. am vrut sa ma apuc de el dar mi am dat seama ca as fi risipit niste bani. pur si simpu nu era pe stilu meu. asa ca am facut schimb cu 306. ma fixasem pe 306, 206 sau un clio rs. cred ca o sa dureze ceva dar sincer merita. ma uit la ea si ma face sa zambesc. am acelasi sentiment ca atunci cand am cumparat prima masina, un renault 5 gti :) ....

I made all project by myself, all modifications. I payed only for respray and for rollcage. I modified the engine, mounted the suspension, brakes, etc... Id depends what power output do you want..

Rusiputki what's the problem ? Yes, is the original diesel engine upgraded to aprox 200hp and 350nm and is running quite fast. 5.7 sec 0 - 100km/h and 14.0 on quarter mile.
