Peugeot E-208 review | New Owner First Impressions?

I just bought my first EV, and with one month of driving, I give my first impressions on my new Peugeot E-208 GT Premium.

I'd say for the average driver its not bad at all. It has 6 speakers in total (one in each door and two eitehr side of the front windscreen. I'll see if I can do a video on that. :)

Nice. Thinking of getting same one. Is it true that it can drive itself on motor way? In terms of self steering? Next to lane assist button there is a steering wheel button - is that auto drive???

Yes my model does have the lane tracking or lane assist. In lane assist it gently nudges you to keep you in the lane but you can easily break over the line. With the lane tracking it properly steers and stays in. However I’m not a huge fan. One time the lane I was in split into two and the car stayed in the middle heading towards a bollard as the lanes separated! It also often drops out if conditions aren’t perfect, eg poor markings, rain etc. it also makes you hold the steering wheel all the time with two hands which gets tiring rather than loosely holding in lane with one hand on the wheel so in practice I’ve pretty much stopped using the feature.

In summer I’m getting around 196 indicated but probably around 170 actual. In winter you can see the reduction probably nearer 150 when it’s colder. I regularly do a 2.5 hour motorway drive and I’ve learned I can do the full journey ‘just’ in one go, but always grab a mid way charge in case of any diversions just in case.
