Here's my theory!! Pretty long and probably wrong, but I tried! (Apologies for the grammar) My theory 7:42 We see here Stephanie's eyes dulling when she accepted. I dunno if it's just me overthinking things, but because of what happened with the failed speech that day, she needed someone to talk to, and it just so happens that the white haired guy asked her out. Steph believes that she's unloved and a failure, and that maybe she could try dating the guy because this is perhaps the only time someone will ever want to date/love her. For this moment, she wanted to forget what happened that day, and made an impulsive decision. (Another thing, she took her dad's pills, perhaps they were drugs, which would explain the wobbly screen after she consumed one. This may have made her gullible, akin to being drunk, so she easily accepted the date.) Moving unto the date; she was eating salad. I've watched videos about boyfriends not wanting their girlfriends to become 'fat' so they Want them to control their diet. Or mayhaps Stephanie decided this for herself since she didn't want to become hated for weight gain (mentioned previously that everything goes well as long as you're pretty 9:03. Her eyes during this time are as dull ever.) 10:16 whispers heard: "This is a mistake", I dunno if it's accurate. Is it the white haired's whispers? If it is, he may be regretting dating Steph. Also, Steph is eating fast here, maybe she hasn't eaten, and been starving herself?) the food may also be drugged (or it is), because she became unconscious the next scene. The next scenes and these are my interpretation: Kaj was ordered to stay close to Steph hence why he wanted to date her, perhaps Kaj has grudge against Steph's family? (Which would explain the words here: 12:54 about her dad.), but as he went on dates with Steph, he genuinely began to like her, or just thought he didn't want her involved with whoever decided to want Steph's blood, which would also explain why he begs the thugs to let her go (12:05, Kaj is glad Steph survived) (the ones who wanted the blood probably knew that Steph is the lost princess?). Stephanie probably interpreted everything wrong and killed Kaj. 13:59 the box cutter is pretty self explanatory, but messed up. 14:42, the voice is probably Britney, before Steph could use the cutter on herself, Britney called Stephanie for school. The end of my theory, thank you for reading! Edit: wait, just noticed the spelling part, the sentences are probably a sequence of events that happened to Stephanie, "We have to wait, Tomorrow", probably for an exam? Since it says the next that she failed her exam and it was embarassing. Then she asks where she belongs: she's having an identity crisis, and then asks who she is, she believes that she's not related to her family, since she doesn't belong with her family, and with school, then where does she truly belong? Then the sky is beautiful: probably got compared to her sister, with the beautiful part (or am I overthinking things-), then I'm going to win this argument! After the exam results, she got into an argument with her dad? Edit: during the speech part, we notice that the letters are typed very slowly, this may indicate Stephanie having anxiety in front of her class, and struggling to read her speech paper. 5:17, is probably her father's response. Edit: noticed another thing! During the time she drank the pills, the red thingy gradually disappeared the more she drank then, she's haunted by depressive thoughts, these may be anti-depressants! Her father experiences the same thing as well since the pills are her father's in the first place. 8:29 the transition to herself to the mirror. This is how Stephanie sees herself, and she becomes quite animated and 'cute-sy' with the make up on, which makes her feel confident and bright, but it's still a mask in the end.

I think that at 6:26 She is taking amphetamines, which would make sense for her dad to take as they can help with your performance. It also makes sense for her to even want to take them after failing her speech cause she’d want to improve. Side effects of amphetamines can be blurred vision and the enlargement of pupils which makes sense why on 7:38 her eyes change. I’m so sad I’m an hour late😞😞 Gimme a min imma eat this up🍽 I like to think perhaps Kaj was a part of some sort of organization that had a mission to hurt Steph since what we assume is the Hybrid Princess. (But more on that later.) As Payton has stated in her comment, Kaj was in fact a criminal at the age of 16. So to me, Kaj probably was apart of this group but later on actually liked her and wanted to defend her. I also think this because at 12:18, Steph presumably called Kaj a murderer after learning te truth (implying he’s also been doing this for a long time) and um, quite literally gave him the bat. The implication that there are organizations willing to kill and recruit literal minors just to test Steph’s blood to see if she’s of royal descent is absolutely insane to me. It gives a twist on the blood test gimmick they do in the old GLMMs, so you could say I smiled when I heard them mention it at 11:30. The only thing that baffles me tho is at 8:01. The red text reads, “you’ll never be as pretty and talented as her”. Now this wouldn’t be weird to me if there wasn’t a photo of Steph in her “true form” as the text appears. I tend to overthink things, and I think I’m just pulling crap outta nowhere, but either 1.) It’s simply just showing what Steph wants to be and wants to live up to. Or 2.) Britney… Britney is the ACTUAL hybrid child?? OK LISTEN THO. If we assume “her” in the sentence is Britney, and it shows a picture of the hybrid child.. IS IT WRONG TO ASSUME BRITNEY’s the hybrid princess?? Like it doesn’t say “The HATED Hybrid Princess’s Tale” But then again I think I’m just tripping balls😭 [TL;DR] My main theory is that Kaj was apart of the gang that wanted to test Steph’s blood, but he betrayed them because he grew to like her. After learning the truth Steph gives Kaj the bat, ending his life. Steph becomes sad. And with that out of the way, once again huge props to the whole team who made this! I loved this part more than the last, and I can’t wait for more!💞💜

I enjoyed this video so much!! I have a few theories.. ( 10:05 ) When Steph was eating the salad, I think she was eating slower and slower, smaller and smaller bites ( or am i just seeing things lol ). I think the food was drugged. After she ate the food, you can see the chromatic abbreviation. I usually see this when I am about to faint. This is another proof her food was drugged. I believe she has split personality, like 2 sides. After she dyes her hair, you can notice that she has 2 designs for her character ( that may symbolize split personality ). Her first design is at the timestamp 09:11 where she has bright, long hair. Her second design is at 13:55 where she has short, dark hair. I think the first design is her happy personality and the second one is the sad one. Or maybe she had 2 designs because thats what stereotypical gacha movies/skits do? I don't know.. I think that symbolizes that Steph thinks nothing will look good for her. You can see the cursor is always hesitant and slow to do things, I think it means Steph double-thinking/re-thinking her actions before doing it. And at 8:00 It says “you’ll never be as pretty and talented as her.” I think “her” is said popular/princess girl. Popular/princess girls in gacha in the 2018-2022 stage had purple/pink hair, and stephanie most likely wanted to wanted to look like said type of girls. Or, she had a character, and the character in her head who she made pretty/popular and she was comparing herself to said character. But she said “what a lame color” because she didn’t want to look childish. 10:48 If i can recall, i think before her makeover she took her pills, adding on to my theory of her dad having drugs, and making her dizzy. But i also feel as if Kaj is related, and those guys who were whispering to him might have drugged the food, as he said “I assume they work here”. 11:09 Is that the girl who was in the meter when she was playing with the teddy last episode??… 11:15 I’m assuming after she was drugged, her blood was taken, and the reason Kaj was injured this time was because his blood was taken too. Also the reason he’s alway injured is because of those strange men earlier. 11:20 Thinking she woke up from being drugged and blood taken. 14:40 Just a note, in the back theres a picture of her father and her sister and her, meaning her dad might’ve gotten better at one point.

Steph looks like shes gonna overdose and her whole cute and gacha life is actually just the effects of a happy pill she has to keep taking to stay in her happy little world. And it seems like the black screen with text in the bathroom is telling steph to do things, forcing her and manipulating her that its what shes supposed to do? (When the text says "you like the colour purple right?" Or when it says "steal brittneys clothes. She wont mind") and i think everytime something bad happens she takea the pills and goes back to her happy world once more, like nothing happened. Also at the end the text was congratulating her in the end as if her friend didnt just die?? So i think the text is a voice in her head that manipulates her to do things Also the box cutter scene (i think brittney was calling steph being genuinely worried for her) i think steph was attemping s-icide or was gonna cut herself, and the voice in her head most likely by the pills is schizophrenia. Shes hallucinating the eyes and mouths laughing at her being scarier than they seem cause or th3 pills, the pills make her have a happy looking life and the side effects give her hallucinations Thats my theory for this ep

Britney if i have to guess is not like in the story this all series is inspired to, i think she is in fact a good person (mostly because of 8:39 where she say that her sister wouldn't mind, and that Britney seem worry when she try to get her sister out) The reason why Steph is comparing herself to her sister is because their father treat them very differently (mostly because Stephanie was there at the wrong time, wrong place when he learn the death of his wife and some sort of favoritism he have for Britney (he did gave her a plush in the first episode and she looks a lot like his wife)) Because of that and the possible bulling at school, Steph see herself as inferior, not as perfect as her sister who don't have as much difficulty in school than her, Steph self esteem is just non existent. her sister could say word who to her are hurtful even if Britney didn't mean to hurt her. That could create some sort of bridge between the two sister later on. But that just a theory, a game theory

Small detail I haven't seen anyone mention, at 11:15 what im assuming is a vile of blood turns from red too purple. This could be steph's hybrid blood. As long as we're not going with the theory that Brittany is actually the hybrid princess. The only thing i dont know how too feel about is the text at 12:39 -13:03 its obviously Kaj speaking, but those are some pretty cutting words for the girl you died for man. Especially since him even knowing about her dad like that implies that she probably opened up too him about it. Unless its steph's thoroughly traumatized mind is just perverting her memories, thats just so cold. Side note, where do you prefer for people to submit fanart? My interest is piqued lol.

THEORY TIME: So steph is probably adopted since her parents dont share the same hair colour. In 1/5, it shiws that stephs dad may be abusive, we can confirm this bc at the end, it says "you're just like your dad, hurting others to defend yourself". Another thing to think about is the fact that steph seems to have social anxiety. She doesnt feel like enough and she feels as if everyone is judging her. Im going to take a wild guess and say that the pills are probably either schizophrenic pills or anxeity pills. The scizophrenic one is because the guy's(i couldnt make out his name) contact was erased, so maybe she hallucinated the entire thing. The anxeity pills since she seems to have social anxeity, this is probably wrong since she takes it after school instead of during school. The dads pills may be uh.... đřüğ§ Since she seems to have blurry vision and everything moves. The dads pills could also be coping pills after the death of his wife, but the effects it has on steph doesnt make sense. BUT THATS JUST A THEORY A GAM- uh FILM THEORY (All of this is prolly wrong but im taking a guess lol)

theres no such things as schizophrenic pills, and if you’re talking about antipsychotics; they are used to treat hallucinations and psychosis. i do agree on the white guy never having existed, i just think she took either a) her dads medication for something and it caused hallucinations as a result of the dosage being too high and not having been described to her, or b) her dad consumes illegal drvgs.
