What do you think are the strongest arguments on both sides?

Honestly I'm not sure yet. I think Con arguments that don't rest on "but paying workers less money is good for profits" will be stronger. I think Pro arguments that are the most directly tied to union membership and power will be the best.

Yep! I had somebody take the example cases I posted awhile back without cards and read it in front of me. And when her opponent asked to see evidence she was like "this case doesn't have any"

Last time people ended up taking them and running them without cutting the cards and getting in trouble in my state, so unfortunately that ship has sailed. But I am glad that the first time helped you!

You might want to explain why "people" EXCEPT TEACHERS are moving from right to work states. Are businesses moving and workers following? Why would workers move to states where wages and benefits are lower? WHAT? Politicians passing laws to support their constituents is corruption? DAMN SON! I could say it depends on who is being taxed, but I won't. Being employed doesn't mean you are not impoverished. Is there actual evidence that unions advocate to retain unproductive workers? This would not include older workers and those with disabilities. I would argue that the Labor-Management Reporting and Disclosure Act of 1959 requiring union leadership to be elected by the members already ensures that unions do not engage in activities that are detrimental to the workers. And what causes workers to be low income? If only there was a way for workers to increase their take-home pay.😁

1) this is on a topic lecture from months ago that nobody is debating anymore so this is a bit late to be helpful. 2) the views expressed in the video regarding each argument for each side are not My personal view but the arguments expressed by various authors in the literature. 3) There are much more interesting and productive things to do with your time than comment your disagreements with a high school debate lecture. But thanks for the view and engagement with the vid to help me with youtube's algorithm anyways ig!
