Murray Rothbard is a titan of the Rightwing, and Hoppe has inherited the title. The Right will always be Rothbardian because Rothbards ideas withstand the test of time. Despite the stride toward social-democratic corporatist globalism, this century will be a century of the Right and this is because of Rothbard and Hoppe.

If you want to be honest here immigration from statist and authoritarian countries helped america become what it is now. What you expect when your immigrants cone from fascist Italy, Russian Empire, Ottoman Empire, USSR, India, communist china, Germany. Russian jews probably did the most harm in driving the country toward state socialism. Im not saying that all Eastern Jews are collectivists. Rand and Mises are probably the best examples of the contrary. But for every Hayek there are thousands of Bernies.

Irrefutablility doesn’t mean a-priori true, it could be untrue but we’d lack the means or knowledge to demonstrate so. Still a strong argument. What is a body and what is one that controls it? Begs the question of property beginning with a soul, I do think there are natural hierarchies and this is not a one size fits all rule. He even said this so it’s a non-issue. Anyway good talk. And good read.

Should we discuss a theoretical monopoly over all aspects of oil production it is obvious to all people that the result would be ever-less petroleum product at ever poorer quality and ever higher price. Discuss the monopoly political system, however, and people's eyes glaze over and a Pod Person emerges to spout mindless drivel about how great is republican democracy. It takes a rare amount of abstract thought capability to understand what Professor Hoppe discusses. The masses of men lack it, and the state's existence gives the most cunning predators (sociopaths all) a socially accepted means to rob, rape and pillage with consent from the victims. Prof. Hoppe used the term "original sin." The state (a monopoly) is absolutely this, and it shows why Mankind will never be free of it.

Prof Hoppe's work made me realize some part of the harsh truth of the world. Sadly few of the other libertarian professors can explain such abstract thoughts

Moral degeneration by Professor Hoppe's numbers: Total state dependence: 181 million people. Only 1/3rd of people are "independent of the state." I'd add that the only "healthy" aspects of the US economy are those where political government is the dominant payer (e.g., medical services, military weapons, etc.). Imagine the coming conflicts over dwindling resources once the borrowing binge ends. Military dictatorship is almost assured as the Pentagram (with the biggest guns) crowds out the other piglets nursing at Uncle Sam's political breast.

+Lazar Otasevic Taking others property is theft. Property acquisition through original appropriation, production using your property and trading (voluntarily exchanging) with others is not stealing. Anyone who would make these actions illegal, interrupt them in some way are coercing peaceful people. Anyone trying to take away property from those who got into possession of property through these means would be stealing. Taxing in private relationships is called stealing. Taxing and subsidizing in private relationships is called stealing and fencing off stolen goods.
