I think it looks great, Peggy. Those side holes along the bottom edge gave an unusual effect. There's always something different that can be done but there's nothing wrong with this one. Stay safe. Bill

I like it. It turned out very nice. I like the fact you are not afraid to experiment with color. That’s definitely a good creative flair you have. I experimented with brown leather dye on some birch wood that I turned. It came out surprisingly well. And I used a gold paint pen to highlight some of the beads on the piece. Give it a try and see if you like it. Nothing ventured is nothing gained. Hope all is well in Maine!

Nice bowl! Love the patterns it creates. I watch videos to learn and because I find it relaxing. I’ve turned off and on since 1989. This is the second of your videos I watched today. In the earlier video you turned a bowl and filled a crack with green resin. Have you tried injecting resin with a hypodermic needle? If you get a large enough needle you can put it really deep. I use 30 and 60 mm hypodermics that I get from farming supply stories. Keep up the good work.

Thanks for sharing this video! I recently turned a practice piece of wood that ended up being quite pretty if it wasn't for the termite holes throughout. I was considering either filling them with epoxy or drilling them or opening them with rotary tool first then epoxy.. this video really helped me visualize what some of that might look like. I definitely did love the spalting!! You have a new subscriber in me from only one video watched, looking forward to more! :)
